Waiting for INVITES (2022-2023)

Hi guys, may I ask for advice please

I will be taking PTE to replace my IELTS since may 7.5 score ako sa IELTS, and waiting for ACS results.

Assuming everything goes well, I will be getting 80 / 85 points for 189/190

I'm trying to avoid 491, but will try it if hindi makakuha ng ITA.

I only want NSW for 190 since most of my connections live there.

My ANZSCO is 261312 (Developer Programmer)

Given all this info - Would I need to take NAATI CCL to boost my score to 85/90?

Or do I have a pretty good chance with 80/85 score to get an ITA?

Competition is very stiff at 80/85 points, specially in our job code.

Per my agent, it's better to exhaust all possible options for you to increase your points.

You still have 2 unknowns as of this point (PTE/ACS results), no guarantee yet if you can max them out, so it wouldn't hurt to secure more points.

Advice is, siguro wag masyadong choosy. Well still depends on you kung it's NSW 190/189 or nothing (remain in Ph) OR makapasok sa AU legally with all possible options? If the latter is not really your priority then ok.

I understand masarap mamili pero ayun, consider na di ganun ka competitive ung current eoi mo. Pero kung ayaw mo talaga ng other region sa AU, wala namang mag foforce, bet your luck with NSW.

+1 to this. If dead-set ka talaga sa NSW, pwede rin na NSW EOI muna ang i-lodge mo and then wait it out within a reasonable period lang, setting a deadline for yourself. If wala pa ring invite by that deadline, then lodge ka na for other states and/or 491.

That was my strategy nung 190 EOI lang ang ipinalodge ko and preferred states ko lang (context: I only have 491 and 190 as options). Personally, I believe in leaps of faith na ganyan, basta may reasonable risk management plan pa rin and you fully account for the risks.

Your chances would definitely improve if you lodge an EOI for more than just one state though. Good luck!!

Around August siguro yun. Second month of the FY. Sana mag open rin sila same for the new FY, para sa mga naghihintay ng invites. 🙂

Itong katatapos lang na FY, alam ko meron na-invite na 85pts na ICT, e. But we'll never know. Just get out there and submit EOI/ROI once they are open again. 😉

Kung kaya pa pataasin points mas ok. Though, not purely based on points ang 190, it's still beneficial in the long run since target mo rin 189.

Sa mga July 2023 na makakatanggap ng ITA pero January 2023 pa nakapagsubmit ng EOI at ACS deemed date ng skills is Jan 2013. Mababawasa po ba talaga yung 6 month work experience kasi last 10 years lang ang binibilang ng DHA? added visuals

Alam ko once you submit EOI fixed na yung points (unless you change details). Besides, I think wala naman difference kasi more than 8 years ang counted?

Both po kami mag aaply as main applicant and of course dependent po ng isat isa. We are now holding a 482 visa. Balak namin magretake ng PTE to increase our points to 85, okay na po ba to pra mainvite kami?

English Language: Proficient (L-77,R-87,S-79,W-79) - 10 pts

With the latest invites po sa EE at CE last Dec 2023, the minimum points po for 189 is 85 points po, so better to increase po yung points for better chances po if 189 lang po ang balak na applyan..

Okay po. Pinag iisipan na rin po namin na mag apply din ng 190 pero what state ang pwede kasi sa Adelaide po kami mapupunta and as per my husband's research, konti lang ang opportunity there for CE.

For the those waiting for invite, there will be an increase on the visa fees in the new FY (as they yearly do).

Forward to 7:44 mark of the video. It's not a full list, albeit come 1st July, the DHA website will be updated accordingly. Consider this in your budget. 😉
