Hello! We just received our 190 NSW visa. We are a family of three, with 1 6yr old kid. Plano po sana namin to do the BM on 1st week of January 2025 para masabayan po ang start ng opening ng school year. Maghahanap pa rin po kami ng bahay pagkadating. Question, ok lang po ba ang timing, or very tight po ang sched given na maghahanap pa po ng bahay, school at work? Salamat!

Should be fine if nakapag research na kayo ng suburb and schools na target nyo. Nag aaccept naman ang schools kahit nag start na ang classes (except sa private siguro na limited ang slots minsan).

You are correct, once you receive your prefilled return from ATO, you have till October to lodge. The good thing is you don't have to wait for October to get your NOA. Pwede mo na po sya i-lodge agad agad for the purpose of getting your NOA. You'll have two options either to lodge your ITR and just enter your taxable income as zero, OR call the ATO hotline and request for your NOA directly (you do not have to lodge your return but be mindful of security questions same lang din nung nagapply ng TFN.)

So, un lng po sana nakatulong, and Good luck with your job hunting na din, you will have it soon.😊

Transitioning to school here is easy—your child can be enrolled at any time naman during the school year.

However, finding a job and a house is a different story, and these should be your top priorities.

Hello! Ask ko lang po regarding sa PDOS. Yung nabasa ko po kasi dito is same day daw po dapat mag e-mail ung officer para sa schedule? Need po ba ulit mag register if wala ako natanggap na email nung day ng registration ko? Thank you!

Hello po! Sakin po same day nag email ang officer to send docs for verification at schedule. Pero yung husband ko na kasabay ko nagparegister, hindi po sya nakareceive ng email. So tinanong ko yung assigned officer ko, tas sabi nya no record daw on their end. Kaya pinaregister sya ulit. I guess you can try sending an email to ff up.

Wait din natin sagot ng iba 😅

Kung sa January 2025 pa kayo pupunta ng OZ ang suggestion ko ay mas ok sa pinas pa lang mag apply na kayo ng trabaho then isulat mo sa resume mo na currently holding a 190 visa or permanent resident. Then pagnatanggap na kayo isa muna ang aalis then pag naka stable na sunod na yung remaining or ppwede din sabay sabay na atleast secured na ang trabaho pagdating ng OZ mejo mahirap kasi maghanap ng rent ng bahay eh.

Hello po! I registered ulit today using a different gmail account. May nag email na sakin and nasubmit ko na din agad documents. Scheduled na agad ako for August 27 na PDOS.

Nagstart na rin kami mag-apply2 ng work dito. Nakapagbook na rin ng one way ticket to Oz after Christmas na kasi super mahal ng tickets sa January. Balak namin magrent muna sa Airbnb for the first 2 weeks para makapagtingin-tingin ng bahay. Kabado pero hopefully makayanan naman! 🙂

Tanong ko lang anong state pala ang target nyo and anong occupation nyo? Pag nakahanap na kayo ng work ang suggestion ko is maghanap kayo ng FB group dun sa state na napili nyo. Then kapalan lang ng muka at maghanap muna kayo ng shared house for the mean time kasi kung airbnb napakamahal nyan. ITO AY SUGGESTION KO LANG NAMAN. Ang suggesion ko pa pagdating na pagdating nyo asikasuhin nyo agad yung Medicare, TFN at Centrelink nyo para easy na lang lahat at wag kalimutan na kumuha ng mobile no.

Can anyone share their experience with renting a shared house / room for rent sa Pinoy FB groups while offshore?

Like pano po ung bayad for reservation? Pagdating na po ba or need agad magremit to their aus bank account?

Wala po kasi ako kilala talaga pagdating ko dun.

hi po sir, will suggest to further dig dipper into this one, join Pinoy FB groups and find out further kung meron mga magrerespond sa enquiries nyo po about availability for rental houses/rooms in a specific suburb that you will be staying. with regards po dun sa price itself, you will be able to cross-reference this one by looking at websites such as https://flatmates.com.au/rooms/sydney again, it will help you a lot if you know what suburb/location ka po mag-sstay, kapag mas malayo sa city, like 1hr away, mas mura yun, pero pag 30mins to city, normally mataas na price:

Kapag po ba umuwi muna ng pinas and then dun na manggagaling papauntang australia. Anu -ano po kaya ang mga requirements?.

Oh, that's strange. Usually, July nagsesend na sila ng prefilled tax return sa mygov app. Baka po you didn't link ATO to your mygov app. Or baka you might not have applied for your Tax File Number (TFN) itself.
