just submitted a 491 with 100 pts , profession is Chemical Engineer. Why do I feel na Hindi pa din maiinvite 🙁 anyone who are chemical engineers who are recently got an invite for 491 or 190?

It's still early in the year. Most States don't normally open their invitation rounds until August or September, so don't lose hope.

Hello po, data scientist occupation (224999), submitted EOI last Sep 2024 and updated it April 2025 with the following details: 90 points for 190 and 100 points for 491, superior English and NAATI, single, offshore, 8 years overseas work experience (though 13 talaga in total, deduction was because my occupation is not aligned to my education). May chance po ba mainvite? Salamat po.

I’ve recently made a post on my social media accounts about how competitive EOI’s for civil engineers who lodged theirs as at May 2025. I tried to attach a snapshot here but for some reason, it’s failing to upload.

A bit late to share, but we were invited by NT for the Subclass 491 visa in May 2025 as Software Engineers. We lodged our visa application in June 2025.

That’s correct, that’s what I like about 491. Hence, when we manage EOI’s of clients, we consider all 3 visas and just fixate their option to one visa.
