Hi guys, newbie here! 🙂 Quick question lang po: nag-apply iyong cousin ko last december 2013 ng 572 (her hubby as dependent), unfortunately, na-refuse application niya last January 2014. Now, she wants to resubmit her application, but this time, hindi na sasama hubby niya, cousin ko na lang ang pupunta sa Australia if ma-grant visa niya. For the OSHC, is it okay to get a Single Cover instead of Couple kasi her hubby will stay here na lang sa Pinas to manage their business. Thanks 🙂

@rinbee ...if siya na lang pupunta dito bro then mas practical na single din ang insurance kukunin nya dahil malaki diperensya between single and couple premium sa insurance.....

@rinbee yes, Single cover will do. You only need insurance for the person or persons who is/are included in the application.

@danyan2001us & @appledeuce: Thank you so much for your quick replies. She's worried kasi baka ma-refuse ulit application niya because of that. Ang alam kasi niya, basta included sa application (ex. spouse & children), kasama sila sa computation ng OSHC kahit maiiwan ang dependents dito.

@tin1289.....im not that familiar with firstec...but just be patient and try whatever agency you can apply with...apply ka rin sa Manpower Agency..maganda doon sa may northcote yan malapit sa train station.....

May tanong po ako sa mga students dito na hindi nakatapos ng course nila sa Pinas. Nagpasa po ba kayo ng certificate of completion sa school nyo sa Au? Nagtataka lang kasi ako kasi hindi ako nakatapos ng course ko pero hinihingan ako ng certificate of completion.

@Pattycorky & @dreamprayhard84: The visa officer did not consider iyong funding ng isa nilang sponsor (self-employed) kasi hindi naiprove iyong funds na nasa bank account nila. They submitted their ITR for the last 3 years, and mababa ang declared income. Masyadong mabusisi yata kapag 572. Now, they're planning to engage an education agent/migration agent, pero nagdadalawang-isip sila kasi medyo mabigat din daw ang fees. Iyon nga lang, baka kung self-application ulit, baka marefuse na naman daw siya. Ang fear niya talaga magkaroon ng history of visa refusal. Kaya I told them to visit this site, kasi andaming free info and very willing ang mga forumers to share their knowledge which is a big help talaga!

@rinbee Try consulting IDP. Their services are free. They will also enlighten you regarding sa financial matters. Just try. Kasi mahal talaga ang fee sa ibang agencies. Better be practical. Cheers. 🙂

hi kung gusto mo talaga july intake siguro mag vocational course ka na lang like nun sakin kasi min. of 5.5 lang pwede na.

@rinbee yung sponsor ba nila ay relatives nila or family friends? At ilan ba naging sponsor nila?

Tanong ko lang po, may business po kasi kami pero ang gamit namin na permit e brgy business permit hindi business permit from city hall, pwede po kaya ipasa yung brgy permit para may proof of na may business kami sa tingin nyo valid po kaya yun?

@dreamprayhard84.....IMHO...I believe it would be challenging for you to get a favorable response from any CO considering that these CO there in Pinas are Pinoy as well so for sure they know exactly how businesses are run and what are the documents (official) required for one.....so if brgy business permit lang ung hawak mo, not to discourage you but i think medyo alanganin....my 2 cents....
