Hello po!

May question po ako regarding dun sa affidavit/statutory declaration. Me and my partner are currently based here in SG. Do we need to notarize our affidavit here in SG or pwede sa Philippines? same with our friends? Concern lng kais nmin baka mag ka problem kami since sa pag kakaalam ko bawal ang same sex relationship here in SG.

Nakikitira lang kasi ako sa kanila ngayon with her family because most of my family members are already in AU and US pero we don't really consider it as live in kasi may bahay pa nman ako. Pwede na po kaya yang mga yan? Thank you so much for any advice! God bless everyone 🙂

based sa regulation, u need to address the following:

financial aspect of the relationshp
The nature of the household
Social aspects of the relationship
The nature of the commitment

if u have enough evidence to address #1 then ok na un without joint account. pero depende pa din sa case officer. mas madali kung may marriage cert. wala ng additioanl requirements. less hassle.

@Xiaomau82 thank you so much! saan mo po nakita yang rules and regulation na nabanggit mo? pwede po pasend ng link dito para maexplore ko din and from their, makakuha ako ng idea kung ano mga next items na need iresearch. sensya na po wala pa ako idea, magsstart palang ako sa EOI kasi ngayon lang nakapasa sa English test 🙂

hi michael, same sa amin po. but luckily nagwork naman and granted. initially filed as Defacto pero since mahina proof ang ilang months na live in, nag changed kami to engaged. since sakto na nagpropose si partner. and di pa kami nakapag file ng visa nung time na un. nag alangan kami sa engaged kasi mdaming need ata proof. joint account is isa sa maganda sana proof. so kahit na ilang months palang ung inopen namin joint account, sinama na namin sa proof. tapos nag add na lang kami ng contract ng booking sa reception, sa jwelry shop for the ring, pictures ng engagement, reservation sa caterer... mostly mga 1k-5k na booking fee lang un eh. para lang mapakita na may plan talaga to get married soon. tapos more pictures in chronological order tapos per category. naka screen capture from facebook, instgram and other social media accounts, mga messages sa fb/text message/ call logs lahat ng history na pwede makuha, per year mas maganda. give ka mga 5-10 samples.. tapos mga plane tickets, hotel bookings, mga previous trips.. pictures or souvenirs.. lahat na.. parang scrap book na.. or gawan mo ng table of contents. kung di kaya sa isang document, kasi may limit lang size para maupload sya, pahiwahiwalayin mo. per category. halimbawa, Date/Travel/with each family/ etc.. as in lahat ng pwede. ok lang un.. all out na para lang maproof na genuine. then pinakaimportante ang statutory ng love story nyo. tig isa kayo.. based sa kung ano alam mo..at alam nya.. kelan nagstart till now. ano plan nyo sa future and stuff. then hingan mo friends mo, immediate family members and relatives. nakanotorize din sya. scan and upload. basta be honest lang...para walang maging problema.. tapos mga bank statement nyo pareho if meron, saka any documents or bills na naka address sa inyo, contract ng bahay or properties or ung sa car. etc.. :-)
