Good luck sa mga magtitake ng exam this March.

@enna29 for AIMS assessment okay lang na may below 7.0 basta 7.0 ung average. Pero during visa application wala kang maki-claim na 10 points for IELTS kung may below 7.0 ka.. kaya ung iba ina-advise na as much as possible makuha mo ung 7.0 and up sa lahat ng band.. para d ka na uulit for your visa application..

For work experience.. kelangan paid work experience cia.. hindi counted ung training as work experience.. you have to provide supporting docs kse like contract, tax returns, payslips and etc.

@raspberry0707 I know required sa DIBP yung paid experience + supporting documents, pero yung sa AIMS lang? Pwede ba? We're not planning on claiming points for experience.

Hi @Mia ewan ko lang kung lulusot yun sa verification. Yung 6 months post-grad training ko kse dineclare ko as training. Hindi kse considered na work experience ang training.

Sa AIMS kse kelangan ng Job Description aside from Certificate of Employment, and they will verify that with your employer.

@Bongangela1985 requirement yung AIMS for those who graduated outside Australia na gusto magwork as MLT or MLS. Pero if you will apply in other roles like collector (phlebo), CSR or Data Entry sa Lab, karamihan ng employers hindi na hinahanap ung AIMS assessment.

For collector, kadalasan hinahanap ung certificate. May short course kse dito for collectors at pwede din pa-assess sa AIMS as phlebo. Pero may ibang employers na sila na mgbbgay ng training.

@raspberry0707 Thanks! I think verifiable naman siya, same employer as the non-training period... hindi lang siya yung standard employment na may statutory payments na (SSS, etc)

@Mia.. kung papayag employer mo na isama sa COE ung dates ng training as work experience pwede siguro.. pero you have to tell your HR na pag tumawag ang AIMS to verify.. lahat ng documents mo dapat consistent.. kse kung tatawag ang AIMS at sasabihin nila na trainee ka nung period na kini-claim mo na working ka.. sasabit ka sa verification process.

Personally hindi ko cia gagawin at hindi ko irerecommend. Aside from you're not being true to your application.. kelangan mo baguhin ung starting date mo sa COE.. risky cia.. kse lahat dapat ng isusubmit mo consistent. Pati starting date ng employment contract mo kelangan mo baguhin. So kung mapagdesisyunan mo na gawin un.. just be consistent and make sure na aware yung employer mo at HR ng company para alam nila ung isasagot.

Tsaka make sure na after graduation date yung date ng training na gusto mo iclaim as work experience. Kse before graduation na training hindi tlaga un iaapprove ng AIMS. Considered na training un at part ng curriculum.

Kung post-graduate training yung pinaplano mo iclaim na work experience.. pwede mo mailusot.. konting pagdodoctor ng documents.. pero risky..

Good day everyone! baka may makatulong sakin dito... RMT ako sa Pinas, i graduated last 2014, then i passed the boards same year September, meron din po akong ASCPi as international Medical lab scientist, meron din po akong HIV proficiency. 2015 January, I started working na po until now Feb. 2017, so parang 2 yrs na ganun, isa akong college instructor sa isang university dito sa pinas, for short, di ako nag work sa laboratory, yung PTE exam ko po ay ok naman, 65 and above naman, now ang papers ko nasa AIMS na for assessment as Med Technician not Scientist... Question po, magragrant po kaya yung aking application? kinakabahan ako kase di ako nagwork sa laboratory, although ang aking mga tinuturuan naman ay medtech, at medtech subject like Clin Chem, micro, hema, etc. Salamat po. Sana may makapag enlight sakin.

To be assessed as a Medical Laboratory Technician

The minimum requirements for a Medical Laboratory Technician are that an applicant has completed an award in

medical laboratory science assessed as comparable to an Australian diploma from a Technical and Further

Education College, based on the AEI Country Education Profile criteria, plus a minimum of two years diagnostic

medical laboratory experience within the five year period immediately prior to applying for assessment OR

registration with the New Zealand Medical Laboratory Science Board.

Nakalagay po kasi is medtech grad tayo plus minimum of 2 years DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORY EXPERIENCE. So kung instructor po ang experience nyo , sa pagkakaintindi ko po, hindi po accepted yun. Anyway, nakapagsubmit nman na po kayo ng application. Please update us kung tinanggap ng aims po ang qualifications and work experience nyo po, for reference po ng iba pang mag aapply.. Thanks! Hi po. May same case po tayo. Training period and exp with the same employer. Yung sken di ko sinama sa work experience ko yung training period. Unang una pag kumuha ako ng coe. Start ang hiring date nila sken after training na.. then yung list of trainings ko po, makakahingi ka nunnsa HR kasi maam. Sa case ko, naka take note sa training info ko pa din yung hiring date ko pa din. So di tlaga pwede isama as work exp po. Khit may allowance pa sya. Hope naka tulong. Follow nyo nlang ang instruction ang process pra di kayo magkaprob sa visa application sa future. 🙂

Hi! First part of assessment which is to be classified as medical laboratory technician will take 6-8 weeks (delivery period not included), from receiving of your documents. Then they may invite you as well to take the aims examination which is the second part of assessment to be considered as Medical Lab Scientist..
