Centrelink and Medicare Registration

Nagregister na sya sa centrelink and now nagsasagot sya nung online. Yung husband and other 2 kids nya sa March pa susunod. Makakapagclaik na ba sya para sa daughter na kasama nya? Tapos pwede po ba magfile ng parenting payment ng wala pang tfn ng husband? Hndi pa kasi makaapply ng tfn since sa march pa dadating.

@IslanderndCity no worries 🙂 as for the TFN and medicare, i think pwde naman, may mga kakilala kami lumipat ng state hindi naman nagka problema basta just update them sa change ng address mo.

TFN will require at least 2 weeks - they'll send it to you thru mail.

centrelink - pwede but you will need to fill up the forms manually, if you have the TFN everything can be done online. Benefits are retroactive...

skillmax - pwede

medicare - they'll send the card to your registered mail after 2 weeks.

how about artificial ways (IVF, etc.) to make your wife pregnant, libre din po?

@islanderndCity i know someone who underwent IVF hindi covered ng medicare lahat ng cost meron rebate pero medyo malaki out of pocket costs pero they got health insurance na covered yun. Meron lang waiting period pero lam ko they were able to reimburse yung expenses nila for IVF

Hi all! Question about centrelink, more than a month na kami dito sa Au, 1week ng pagdating namin, nagpunta kami ng centrelink to register pinapunta kami sa self service counter at pinatawagan ung customer service nila. Ang sabi sa min nung nakausap namin, di daw kami makakatanggap ng support from centrelink dahil sa klase ng visa namin (189 visa kami) tinanong ko, kung meron para sa kids (5 & 10yrs old ung mga anak ko) wala din daw. Meron din ba ganitong case dito? Kasi sabi ng mga kakilala ko, dapat kahit man lang sa kids meron support.

wow! maganda yang insurance policy na yah ah na reimursable ang IVF expenses

@perfectbeauty We are on 190 visa and yet we received Family tax benefits A / B, rent assist, school kids bonus. We arrived last Dec 24, with my family, wife , son 8 years old

daughter 13 yrs old. Matagal nga lang namin nareceived, ( after 3 months) due to may required docs pa for rent certificate. 189 should have these benefits as well.

Are you and your wife already working? i think may threshold din yung salary like 140k something.

@gerardds thanks sa reply. Wala pa kami work ni hubby, naghahanap pa lang. Konti lang naman ang fund na dala namin and malaking tulong sana kung may support from centrelink. Last February kami dumating dito, sabi naman ng iba baka daw nagbago na or depende daw talaga sa visa.

more or less $680 per fortnight yun. di kaya kala nila 489 kayo instead of 189?

Hi, mag initial entry po kami sa July then balik ulet ng Dubai to settle things, probably a year pa before kami mag BIG move. ask ko lang during po ba ng initial entry need na namin mag apply sa centrelink and bank account? baka kase kulangin time namin to apply. thanks

Another question about naman sa medicare, pano nyo in-update ung immunisation record ng kids? Nung nagcheck ako online ng medicare, hindi updated ung sa kids ko. Tia! 🙂

@perfectbeauty yung question mo regarding immunization, ang ginawa ko dati binigay ko lang yung records ng baby ko sa GP niya then sila yung nagsubmit ng form sa medicare tapos naupdate naman yung records ng baby ko.

So ang gawin mo kapag may checkup yung anak mo or kung meron siyang GP na pinupuntahan na dito, inquire mo dun na magsusubmit ka ng immunization history ng anak mo 🙂

@perfectbeauty register ka nalang online sa centrelink mo, bilis lang naman. then mag add ka nga claim, after mag fill-in ng details nyo naman may list ng requirements na you need to submit sa centrelink. make sure lang na hindi zero ang ilalagay nyo na estimated income. pwde kahit si hubby lang lalagyan nyo ng estimated income para buo parin ang matatanggap nyo na FTB B 🙂

@perfectbeauty thats great.. usually 3 to 6 weeks bago mo mareceive. kung may rent certificate ka, submit mo na rin lahat ng pages. sa case kasi namin nadelay ng 3 months dahil jan e.
