Hi, just like to us sa mga bagong dating sa australia , how were you able to purchase a car? Planning to buy muna a second hand car. Would you know the requirements,cost and anu ang ok na dealer? Thanks

no worries.. here is the related information from the department of transport (WA).. I would assume the same rule applies to other states:

If you hold a driver's licence from a ‘recognised country’ and the licence has not expired by more than 12 months, when applying for a WA licence:

You are exempt from taking the computerised theory test on the road rules
You may be exempt from the requirement to undertake a practical driving assessment.

Nag-reply kaagad ng welcome letter and NAB after ko mag-fill out ng online form nung isang araw. Ang galing!

I heard NAB is very quick with their account opening procedures... Tama si boss @metaform, a friend of mine got a response the following day after he opened an offshore account.

Yes I applied online for classic account with iSaver. May NAB account numbers na ako ngayon in which I can transfer my money, pero pagdating ko doon saka lang sya maactivate. Walang pwedeng movement yung pera hanggat wala pa doon yung customer to avoid money laundering. Wala naman akong ganung kalaking money para i-launder!

ANZ sucks! really. 😃 sayang yung 5aud monthly service mo.. pang burger na din yun. 😛

I had a bad experience with NAB. I've opened an account with them from here in PH about a week ago but did not heard from them, no email confirmation etc. Kaya nag open na lang ko sa WestPac, and in less than 24 hours, I've received my account number and I was able to transfer some funds from BPI to them. Tapos after a day, tumawag sila via mobile and explained some stuffs about banking with them, though hindi ko masyado naintindihan gara kasi ng accent ni banker. 😃

@aldousnow, we ought to expect a better (and cheaper) way of opening an account with ANZ considering they have an office here in the Philippines hehe

@annie23 - how much did BPI charge you for your transfer?

Kaka-apply lang din namin last week sa NAB and the following day may response na sila agad with our account number and swift code and then yung banker pa mismo nag-follow up samin this morning kelan ang schedule ng meeting namin with her. 🙂

@annie23, within 2 weeks talaga ang response time ng NAB. So if last week ka lang nag-open baka this week magreply na sila sayo.
