@yeshhmi ECE din po ako, and worked in an IT industry since then. ACS assessed me as ICT Major, then 4 years ang deduction 😃

I myself had a deduction of four years as my degree is Computer Engineering which is similar to ECE maybe you can try to research pa rin</blockquote>

Hello, ask ko lang kung meron na po dito na-refuse ang visa lately? Pwede pa ba magrequest ng refund after ng decision ng CO? Thank you po sa sasagot.

@jmban33 thank you sa reply. Pwede ba na magsubmit ng application for subclass 190 kung refused sa 189? May time limit ba sa pag aapply? May overclaim kasi ako na 5 points, and na-refuse ang application ko. Nanghihinayang din ako na hindi ituloy yung AU plans namin, baka may iba pa akong options na less gastos...

Broken hearted ako ngayon dahil sa refused visa haaays 🙁

Saan ka ng overclaimed ng 5 points sa EOI, sa anong category? yan lang ba ground ng visa refusal mo? kasi kng may overclaimed ka na 5 points sa EOI dapat at first alam na nang CO mo yan.. Bat nag contact pa sya nang ilang beses pra humingi nang additional documents?

Paki share mo yung experience mo please so we can be aware..

@cliffhanger82 overclaim ako ng 5 points dahil sa Australian Study requirement. Yung naging ground ng refusal ko kasi eh mas mababa yung points assessed by CO than the points indicated in the EOI. Bale 65 pts ako sa EOI, tapos naging 60 pts na lang dahil dyan.

Ang pinagtataka ko nga eh bakit ngayon lang ako ininform na ganun, after all ng requirements at documents na hiningi nila earlier. Two years ago na since I was first contacted by my first CO(nag iba iba yung allocated CO sa kin).

@imketket 2 years ago??? grabe ang tagal na pala nang visa application mo and then ngayon lang nila dineclare na may overclaimed points ka.

Anyway may tanong ako sa claim points, for example invited ako for 70 points (w/o overclaim point) and then during the process may na deduct na experience sakin due to missing supporting documents, let's say payslip or contract, tapos ng deduct sila nang 5 points. So ang score ko is 65 points na, so mas mababa sya sa claim 70 points during EOI. Ibig ba sabihin ma deny ung visa application ko? correct me if im wrong.

@cliffhanger82 possibly yes.. eto yung qinoute ng CO regarding my application:

"Schedule 2 to the Regulations sets out, in part, the criteria to be met at time of decision forthe grant of a subclass 189 visa (among other visas).

Specifically clause 189.214 states:189.214(1) The applicant’s score, when assessed in relation to the visa under Subdivision B of Division 3 ofPart 2 of the Act, is not less than the score stated in the invitation to apply for the visa.(2) The applicant’s score, when assessed in relation to the visa under Subdivision B of Division 3 ofPart 2 of the Act, is not less than the qualifying score for that Subdivision.

Pero kung during assessment ni CO eh mas mataas ang naging points mo kesa sa score mo sa EOI, considered qualified yung application mo.

Nagtagal yung application ko kasi na-preggy ako. Hindi agad ako nakapag submit ng x-ray because of pregnancy.

@imketket Ganun ba yun. Akala ko kasi na ma approve pa rin ang visa application whether my points deduction as long as hindi bababa sa 60 points ang final score mo after the deductions.

Di ba pede ma appeal yung result, baka pede pa..

@imketket How about if mg apply ka panibago EOI, total complete naman yung documents mo, at ang pagka alam ko wala naman cgro expiration ang skill assessment (not sure).

@cliffhanger82 Kahit sinunod mo yung assessing body sa pagclaim ng work experience, DIBP CO pa rin ang may final say if talagang legit yung claim mo. So if may hiningi sila na d mo ma-provide, or pag may nalaman sila during their background checks, pwedeng mabawasan yung claim mo sa work experience at ma-refuse yung visa mo ng dahil doon.

@imketket dun sa visa refusal mo, makikita mo dun if meron kang ban. If wala naman, pwede ka ulit mag lodge ng panibagong application. Yung ban kasi is pag nalaman nilang nagpasa ka ng fradulent docs. If overclaim, usually wala namang ban.

Hello @cliffhanger82 yup, pwede ako magsubmit ng panibagong EOI, kaya lang panibagong payment ulit kapag nag lodge(if I'm not mistaken), for which wala na kami budget. 🙁

Can someone please help. I applied for visa 189 and ginamit kong points yung "Australian Study Requirement" kasi akala ko yun yung pwede ko iclaim dahil tinapos ko yung IRON Program sa Aus. Iba po ba yun? Nurse po ako. Please please help
