VIC has always been very slow @MJQ79 so hang on there... 🙂 Follow-up lang every 2 wks if that makes you feel better.

Thanks @psychoboy. May nareceive ung hubby ko na email from VIC nasa subject NOMINATED, tapos walang nakasulat na email. Weird hehe..nagreply hubby ko kung bkt wala nakasulat.

hello all! i hope you can help me out. i found this forum during my search. i applied for VIC SS and received an email rejecting my application. i met the requirements but i don't understand why i was not nominated. could you help me understand. has anyone or do you know anyone who has experienced the same?

hello MJQ79! congratulations. good for your husband. what was his nominated occupation? i received an email from them too however mine was rejected. i am not sure why.

For visa 190, required ba yung proof of funds? Mga atleast how much ba ang funds mo para hnd ma deny visa application mo?bank account ba yung hnihinging proof or counted din sa total funds yung real estate property?thanks

Hi there! I'm new to this forum. Plan ko po mag-apply as life scientist nec sa Victoria state sponsorship. My current work is on vaccine clinical trials (work experience is >3years). Graduate po ako ng Bachelor's Degree in Biology Section 2 school. I'm also a registered Medical Doctor. I heard from a friend in NSW na hindi daw tumatanggap ang Victoria ng Doctors as Life Scientists Nec and they will require you to take AMC exam. Any personal experience regarding this? Wala rin po kasi akong mabasa sa internet or sa Victiria Website ng ganung rules. Hoping din po na may mga Life Scientist Nec dito sa forum para makahingi ng advise. @muffin_jam hello... welcome to the forum...

to submit an EOI, you must have a skills assessment and proof of english... this is also the basic requirement for state sponsorship as they follow the guidelines set by DIAC...

i think nde mo xa nakikita yung detail na hinahanap mo is because this is stated dun sa eligibility requirements ng skill assessing body for your job code... you can try looking at DIAC kung ano yung authorize assessing body for your job code and check the eligibility requirements.

you're welcome... 🙂 balitaan mo kami kung ano nangyari ha... wala pa yata ako nakilala na nagpa-assess as life scientist... galing naman... 🙂 nakita mo na ba yung details na hinahanap mo? by the way.. anong job code ka nagfall?

nakita ko na pala @muffin_jam ... kaya pala mag state sponsorship ka na route kac yung job code mo is 234599... and nasa CSOL lang xa... so kelangan ng sponsorship para makapag-apply... good luck po... sana maging mabilis processing nyo... 🙂

Hi guys.

Since this thread has been bumped already, I have a few things to ask. Here's my situation:

I have an existing 457 Visa (valid, expiring November 2014).
I just filed my ACS assessment yesterday.
No longer based in Australia

I read that VIC has a new ruling that can expedite the processing of applicants for state sponsorship who have been issued with a 457 (valid or expired). The expedited process only takes 14 days compared to the usual 3 months.

What I wanted to ask is, since I've been issued a 457 Visa already, can I just pass my documents (without the ACS assessment) and apply?

I'm just thinking of getting the approval already whilst waiting for the ACS Assessment (which would take 3 months at least).

What's the impact of getting rejected a State Sponsorship? Can I reapply again if I get denied?

I am not sure about the speed up processing for Victoria if you have been previously issued a 457 visa... i did not see this in their official website... www.liveinvictoria.vic.gov.au... if you go through the sponsorship route.. then you still need to have a skills assessment.. language ability... i think ma-speed up lang cguro ang nomination mo since you have australian work experience.. which is additional points for you sa EOI mo... kung yung skill mo naman is in the SOL... kahit d na siguro mag state sponsorship pasok ka na... good luck po on your application.. 🙂

@cchamyl Hi there! Oo nasa CSOL sya ng Victoria. Gusto talaga naming makapunta sa Australia ng husband ko in any pathway na pwede kami kasi lumalaki na din ang family. As long as legal ang pagpunta, hehe.. Try rin namin ang Study pathway. Kaya nga nangungulit na din ako sa mga kaforum natin sa ibang thread regarding that. By the way, ok lang po ba na magsubmit ng EOI for Victoria SS kahit na matuloy kami ng husband ko under student pathway? Para lang may options kami. Thank you!

bat mag study pathway pa kau... parang mahirap yun kac d ka maka-work full time.. mejo magastos pa..

@cchamyl, sa totoo lang gusto din kasi namin na may plan B para pag nagfail ako sa VETASSESS prior to Vic SS, at least may ibang option pa kami para makapunta. Yung isang friend ko din kasi nagapply sya as life science nec ss vistoria. complete lahat ng documents nya, pasado sa VETASSESS, mataas ang IELTS, mataas ang points, smooth sailing ang processing until dumating ang SS result, di sya nabigyan ng invitation. Sabi sa letter, enough pa daw ang ganong occupation nung nagapply sya. However, di naman naalis sa CSOL ang life scientist nec that time and until now nasa list pa din ito. Di ko po alam kung saan nanggagagling basehan ng Victoria sa pagbibigay ng sponsorship. Strict po ba sila? Anyway, di naman po ako nawawalan ng pagasa. That's why i'm here in this forum to learn from others apart from reading a lot in DIAC website.
