Guys, question.

Is it true that the process of VIC SS can take up to twelve weeks to be processed? Based on your experiences, how long did it take for you to have the result? Approved or Not Approved.

my occupation is 261111 ict business analyst. parang medyo mahirap ma.invite ngayon kasi about 100 slots na lang remaining until july. my question, yung state sponsorship ba ay indepedent ba sa occupation ceiling pag.assess? ano po basis nila, yung demand ba ng occupation? thanks

@cgm, refer to the latest announcement from Skillselect - starting March 2014 'State and territory nominated visas will no longer be subject to occupational ceiling limitations'

so in terms of limit - yes, SS is independent of the occupation ceiling 🙂

@mann opo. kinakabahan kasi ako. hehe... last invite sa 189, yung occupation code ko ay 70 points yung cut-off.

i both submitted 189 and 190. Had 60 pts for 189 at 65 pts for 190. praying hard na marinig ni Lord yung dasal namin.

yep. ganun din sakin and yes hindi included sa ceiling ang SS. Kaya nga i just wanted to confirm to the former SS applicants kung how long ung naging application process nila.

hello po! regarding sa written statement kung bakit pinili ang VIC, meron bang Do's and Dont's? gagawa na kasi si mister, baka lang meron kailangang iconsider kapag magsusubmit. 🙂

Since declared naman na may friends and work experience husband mo sa other state, u can use that din as a comparison galingan mo na lang mambola. hehe... Kidding aside, try to highlight yung factors bakit Victoria napili nio, write something specific na pag binasa ng case officer e mafifeel nia na genuine ung intention nio at indi mo lang sia gagamitin to get additional 5 points then later on sa ibang state ka namn pala titira kung asan mga friends nio

@magoo_z i submitted initially my 189 and ticked VIC SS via EOI. Then same day, I sent out separate application for VIC SS at https://www.liveinvictoria.vic.gov.au/manageyouraccount In their application form they will request for your EOI Reference Number.

@cgm sir wala kasi option sir to select ss sponsorship pag 189 ang piliin. tanggalin ko nalang muna siguro kaya ang 190 application ko baka mag send ng invite tapos wala pa naman ako approval or confirmation from vic ss?
