Question: Occupational Health & Safety Advisor (ANZSCO code 251312)

Hi everyone.

Been a lurker for several months but finally decided to register and pop this inquiry. Meron po bang nagpa assess as safety advisor dito? I am currently working as a safety officer here in Saudi Arabia, with almost 2 years of experience. Registered nurse po ako sa pinas but I never practiced nursing in the hospital setting.

I did some browsing and nabasa ko that Vetassess will consider an assessment if the work experience is highly related to the nominated occupation.

Mag papa assess po sana ako sa vetassess sometime soon. Aside from my RN license, i've acquired a couple of safety trainings from Manila and here in Saudi Arabia, pero certificates lang po.

Sa tingin nyo may chance ako?Should I go for the assessment? Any thoughts/response will be highly appreciated.

Hi pa join sa thread,im a chemical engr by profession pero safety na work experience ko then nagpaassess ako sa vetassess as osh advisor, ok naman. Had applied visa 190 nsw and submitted all docs pati medicals at form 815. Hopefully visa grant this march.

Hello po. We got positive assessment po then we submitted EOI Jul 15, after 2 months we got ITA (God is good..) 60 points po ang claim nya..may nagkwento po sa amin na meron case na 65 points and within 6 months nakamove sila NSW.Good luck po, make it sure all details are checked bago magsubmit and samahan ng dasal... 🙂

@MommyPups @esh just want to know if nagrant na visa nyo under safety adviser, na delay na kasi sa amin kasi yung IELTs

@jhazz01 Happy New Year po! still waiting pa rin po...there were additional documents requested from us, nasabayan ng holiday and they just resume reviewing applications last 9th of Jan and requested 1 more document from us. We did not use any agency so I think that's the downside we don't have anyone to scrutinize mga submitted docs namin kung sufficient na or hindi pa... we are hoping we will receive a positive result soon..nakakastress mag hintay but nevertheless we are positive...bahala na si Lord 🙂

Push nyo lang po since you've got a good chance already since you've got a positive assessment from Vetasses, that's a great start already it means may chance 🙂

Pansin ko konti lang osh kaya malaki chance makahanap agad ng work.pagdating namin on a sunday, monday rest, tuesday nagpasa ng resume,tapos wednesday tumawag na for interview.sadly hindi ako nakuha sa 1st job application ko pero on the positive side learning experience sya.in 2 months nakahanap na me osh job.tiis tiis lang. enrol osh training(s) at online cert iv in whs habang naghahanap ng work para may mailagay sa resume to compensate local experience. Plus lagyan ng konting "bling-bling" ang resume para pansin agad hehehe..

@jhazz01 65 points.tapos mga 1.5 months from the time all requirements including medicals are done.

@jhazz01 we got the visa grant last 24th of March (God is always good)!! wala din points si hubby for IELTS and we lodge 60 pts lang..di ko nalista mga exact dates but here's our journey baka makatulong for you..

September.2016- ITA received

07.10.2016 – Medical at London Clinic, additional test required for our daughter

16.10.2016 – UAE Police Clearance uploaded

25.10.2016 - NBI Clearance from Philippines uploaded

26.10.2016 – NSW subclass 189 Visa Lodged

18.11.2016 – Medical Undertaking and additional documents required for other dependent

24.11.2016 – Uploaded additional documents for non-migrating dependent

24.12.2016 – 09.01.2017 – Non working days

21.02.2017 – Uploaded medical of non-migrating dependent

24.03.2017 - Visa Grant!!

I took Intro to Return to Work training and Cert IV in WHS. Usually yung Cert IV yun ang minimum req for WHS officers.
