@filipinacpa, grabe andaming materials na inaral mo...parang kinakabahan tuloy ako sa mga naging results nyo. So far gamit ko Cambridge 7 to 9 hindi ko pa tapos yung 9 with 3 days remaining prior to exam, hay.

Nung isang araw ko lang nalaman nung magregister ako na same day pala ang lahat ng exam dito sa dubai. Unlike sa pinas na puwede ibang araw yung speaking test.

Haha 2 reading test per book lang naman yun so parang 18 practice tests ng GT Reading. 🙂 Natapos ko yata to in 1 month then 2 to 3 weeks before ng exam ko nag li-low na ako ulit magpractice. Consistency and discipline are the key. 🙂 Then ika nga ni Simon, don't just test yourself because you will not learn from that. Internalize the practice tests you're doing which I believe I didn't. I'm more after on what scores will I get right after taking those practice exams. 🙂

@filipinacpa - dadgadagan ko lang ng tip, yung tipong enjoy ka sa mga sub-tests at magaan at relax ka kapag nag pa practice hindi yung pilit. factor din kasi yung pagod ka galing trabaho pero no choice kelangan mag review so time managment din.

Hindi ko pa sinisimulan ulit ang listening at reading review dahil pabalik naman ang strategy ko sa pag aaral, nag alot ako ng 1-2 weeks sa writing task 1 and task 2 tapos tuwing weekends mag Listening at Reading naman ako.

Vetassess doesn't require IELTS as a requirement for their assessment. So, I'm taking IELTS for DIBP purposes. Unfortunately, assessing body of Accountants and External Auditor requires Acad IELTS.

I'm 23 years old (25 pts) with only 3 years working experience lang (5 pts) plus my educational churvaness (15 pts). So I opted to take GT since our fellas here have advised me that it's more possible to get an 8 in all bands (which I think is true, hirap nga lang talaga lol). So, if maka-8 ako sa Ielts, then i'll get another 20 pts, in total 65 pts. If only 10, pwede na rin apply nalang ng SS sa ACT.

So, bakit ko pa nga ba pahirapan sarili ko. Mag-GT nalang ako, easier as they said. Lol

@ImB korek! Imagine. I enrolled in Niner since January 2013 but I think I have only attended 3 or 4 classes. My full self-review started on mid-September (if I can remember it right) but somehow got bored and became more lax as my exam dates became closer. I've written only five writing task 1 and three task 2. I practice speaking tests a night before my exam. Reading and listening practice materials ko paulit ulit, as in familiar na nga mga sagot. Hehe. Of course, when checking my own answers, somehow biased. Lol for example plural ang nakalagay sa answer sheet at singular lang sagot ko, I will still consider it correct. 😃 Nasanay ako siguro kaya ayan, 7.50 lang listening ko. Haha sa reading, test lang a ko ng test without reviewing my mistakes.

This IELTS would really need a lot of patience, discipline, determination and perseverance. Also, don't be so overconfident. Since I've experience to sit and take the actual exam myself, I can say that it's really possible to get high bands. Really high bands. If you want 9, you'll get 9. Hard work lang talaga. Pero so totoo lang, minsan nakakatamad talaga. Hehe

For the head start, i'm listening nonstop to the audio book of 50 shades of grey trilogy. Haha! Non-stop. Oozing and i'm loving it! Lol 🙂

ako need ko lng 6.0 sa lahat ng test, na over confident lng cguro mi noon,,,ayon tuloy sumabit listening,,hahaha,,,but ive learned my lessons already.and this time aiming for higher bandscore is a must! pag nka 7.0 ako,,ayyyyy..bongga!...

60points w/out ielts...how much more if my 10points additional ako for ielts = 70 points nah..

i hope and i pray,,,,,,,,

btw, I downloaded <b>IELTS Trainer Practice Tests with answers</b>. Mukang okay naman. Nag-sstart from scratch yung lessons pati exercises then may tips sa gilid. Yung answer key may explanation and iniidicate kung ano yung disctractions on the particular item. So, for now eto muna po ginagamit ko. Send ko nalang din po sa email if you want. I can also send yung grammar book na ginamit ko at first. Very helpful po siya. Tingin ko eto nagsalba sakin sa writing. Dami ako nalaman.. Yung mga akala ko dati na okay lang, dito naclear naman..

oo nga eh, sayang talaga eh kaso kamay na bakal yata yung BC examiner sa writing haha. hindi bale uulit na lang hanggang sa makuha ang "kapuso no. 7" favorite channel ko pa naman yan 😃
