Hi everyone,

May nakaexperience na ba nang reply ng CO na ganito:

<b class="Bold">"PLEASE NOTE: the conferral /awarded/graduation date is not sufficient

The applicant should provide proof of the date of completion of their course, not the

date of graduation or conferral of their degree."</b>

They are asking for the date of completion and not the actual date of graduation.

I passed the Certificate of Completion of Requirements with GWA issued by Engg Admin.

There is no exact date in the document, only the semester with the AY year. (EX. 2nd Semester A.Y. 2016-2017).

Just wondering if someone had the same experience with the CO.

I remember submitting TOR+Diploma+Certificate of Graduation and that satisfied immi's requirements.

Aside from passing the Certificate of Completion, I also passed the original and english translated Diploma.

All I have to do is wait for now, I guess.

Usually, how long does it take from the assignment of the CO to the visa grant? Around a month?

My CO was allocated 7 June 2013. Visa granted 22 Aug 2013. Obviously this was years ago so things might have changed.

17 Feb 2013 - Lodged Visa 476

07 June 2013 - CO Allocated

22 Aug 2013 - Visa Grant for me and my girlfriend

07 April 2014 - Touchdown Melbourne!

14 March 2015 - IELTS in Melbourne

16 June 2015 - Submitted EA Skills Assessment (Electrical Engineer)

23 June 2015 - PTE-A in Melbourne

2 July 2015 - Received positive EA skills assessment

6 July 2015 - Submitted EOI for visa 189 (65 points)

3 Aug 2015 - ITA

4 Aug 2015 - Lodged app for visa 189. Bridging visa released

19 Nov 2015 - Visa 189 granted for me and my GF

7 April 2018 - Lodged Citizenship

21 Jan 2019 - Immi response

29 March 2019 - Citizenship exam passed. Now waiting for the ceremony

Hi po. My bf is a mechanical engineer in the Philippines. While ako po, andito na Melbourne taking up nursing (conversion) for a year. Ask lang po ako if paano po makakadagdag points si bf po for skilled na visa since hindi ganoon katagal experience niya as an engineer? Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi guys. I'm a graduate of BS EE (UP Diliman) last year June 2018. Plano ko sanang mag-apply mag-isa. Based dun sa nakasulat sa subclass 476, valid lang yung visa grant 2 years after ng graduation. So dapat by June 2020 nasa Aus na ako? Tama ba?

Dapat makapag apply ka before June 2020. Yung dapat nasa Aus ka depends on your IED (initial entry date) stated in your visa grant. 🙂

Thank you sa reply. If ever magrant yung visa tapos nabigyan ng IED, ilang days/months valid yun? Balak ko sanang idrag yung stay ko dito sa Pinas for more work experience (Solar PV Systems installations yung company ko ngayon)

IED same sa NBI expiration (1 year). What I did was lodge muna then I waited for the CO to ask for the NBI and Medical para mastretch out yung stay ko. Not sure if this is still the case ngayon tho.

Hi 476 pips, any advice on what path to take after 476? I mean, what visa did you apply after 476 para mapahaba pa stay sa Oz? Parang di na ata feasible yung PR agad eh dahil madami kasabay na mas mataas ang points.

Hi po. Paano po process kung balak ko pong pasunurin partner ko gamit visa na ito? Nasa Sydney na po ako currently with 476 visa. Possible po ba yung ganitong case? Salamat po!

@butterfingers If you haven't included your partner in your application, he/she will need to apply for separate visa.

Hi fellow UP Engineers! Kamusta kayo? Mahirap ba makahanap ng engineering work ngayon sa Australia? Based sa mga nahanap kong info, usually any minimum wage jobs daw muna kinukuha habang nagaapply ng work.

EE po ako with 1.5 years experience sa isang well known electric utility sa Pilipinas.

Hello, I'll be soon (November-December?) applying for the visa. Gusto ko sanang isama yung girlfriend ko kaso hindi kame live in dahil hindi kaya ng gastusin and siya recent graduate lang tapos ako last year lang. We live with our parents and approved naman nila kame. We are together for almost 2.5 years. Is the "living together" a hard rule? Please help thank you!

Not a hard rule. But you must be able to explain why you live separately and how you keep in contact.
