Hello, I'll be soon (November-December?) applying for the visa. Gusto ko sanang isama yung girlfriend ko kaso hindi kame live in dahil hindi kaya ng gastusin and siya recent graduate lang tapos ako last year lang. We live with our parents and approved naman nila kame. We are together for almost 2.5 years. Is the "living together" a hard rule? Please help thank you!

yes, living together is a hard rule! my friends decided to get married para mas strong yung ties of relationship kasi maraming documents na need iprovide if "de facto" or sa Pinoy, parang Live-in partners. Kasi daw aware ang immigration na conservative culture ang Philippines. Example documents - Bank statement na joint, proof of cohabitation like Rental agreement document, joint bills, travel documents, mga stat declaration from different people.

Mas marami daw nirequire ang CO sakanila compared to his European colleague. (I am not sure about the integrity of this pala)

I disagree. It is not a hard-and-fast rule. Your defacto can get approved even though you don't live together.

Alright, point taken. Let's see their outcome if DHA's lenient with the concept of cohabitation.

Hello fellow iskos and iskas! I have some questions para sa mga nakapunta na nang Oz through 476, and then PR na ngayon or nagpoprocess na ng PR status :smiley:

How soon after you landed in Oz did you lodge your PR visa application? I'm planning to get Visa 189 kasi to get PR after I land there through 476. Kabado lang coz little work exp lang meron ako outside and within Oz.
What steps did you have to do to strengthen your PR request? May nag PYear/NAATI/Spouse points ba dito? :smiley:
Any advice for my situation? Planning to go there after I complete 1 year of work experience dito sa Pinas. I'm worried kasi na di ako makakuha ng relevant work dyan agad so baka di ko makuha yung 1yr minimum Australian exp points. As of now, bare minimum lang points ko. (Around 65 to 70 pts).
Okay lang ba na sa dulo na nang 476 validity mag apply for 189? Like sa 16th month out of 18th? Para meron nang work exp 😁

this visa used to take only a month to get approved.

Those were the days, now it usually takes more than a year.

i know someone, sept 2019 pa nag apply, wala p din ata results until now

i think it is actually an advantage for the app to take long, given that you're currently employed and plans to use the visa to work here.

possible pero minsan sa diskarte at swerte rin.

in my experience, yes i had difficulty pero yung iba got an offer naman kahit little relevant experience.

more exp can be helpful

I'm not sure if that can be done. But I think one way you can do to delay the grant is to not upload your NBI clearance until they ask for it.

may grant notice kana, malabo na mabago ang grant/visa details mo afaik

Hi, guys! Kumusta mga application niyo? Lodged mine on 06 January 2020 and completed uploading all necessary documents a couple of weeks after. Up to now, "received" pa rin status ko.
