@ghypez I want to delay the application lodging para more time mag ipon ng pera at experience. Im anticipating 3-7 months visa processing, and in the event na maapprove (fingers crossed), 2-5 months allowance before I need to leave for Au. Ang worry ko kasi baka irequire agad na umalis. haha.

It took DIAC less than 3 months to process and approve my 476 visa. I just don't know about your case since you are including a de facto partner in your application, it might take longer.

Usually you will be given at least 8-10 months before your entry deadline expires. In my case, my visa got approved january 2012 and IED is dec 30 2012, almost one year for the entry date.

normally ang IED is based on your nbi clearance and medical results date..

it is valid for 1 year.... kaya you have ample time to prepare for your move to AU..

meron nabibigyan ng IED na 6 mos after their nbi/medical clearance date, eto un may mga possible health risks pero acceptable nmn...

@vinpack More or less I have a year to prepare after I lodge my application. At least I have time to apply for a job in Au while I'm in the Phil and preparing. 🙂

Yep you have almost a year to prepare. You should definitely try to apply for a job while you're still here.

To be honest with you, it's quite hard to secure a position there while you are still here in the Philippines and I guess most of our fellow forum members can attest to that fact. It is therefore important to also use that time to gain more work experience and it will be a great help if you're working on a project/working for a company that uses australian standards/codes since most recruiters in oz are looking for some local experience.

With regards to the 18months stay, ghypez answered your question already. It starts when you first arrive in oz.

They need to do regular check-up pagdating sa AU..

Normally, eto ung may pinirmahan na Health Undertaking as a condition of their visa approval..

yes.. they (DIAC) won't require you to get married...

you can stay there as "partner/de-facto" relationship, dahil recognized naman nila ang ganung status.. and they are very open-minded about that..

so ang facebook kailangan maglagay na ng status na ganyan...

hindi nmn "it's complicated'.. ayaw lang talga magpakasal.. lol..

hi,.. almost same situation with @iammaxwell1989.. pero wala kami joint account ng gf ko.. at hndi kami sa isang house nkatira.. pero matagal na kami.. does that mean? marriage contract n lng ang choice nmin?

yung 12 mons po ba n yun ay 12mons na may joint account?at 12 mons ng magkasama sa isang house? TIA

12mons na kayung may joint acct at 12 nakatira sa isang bahay? TIA
