Try to amass as much as 65 or 70 points. Leave an EOI then forget about it. Mag-aral na lang ulit or kumuha ng bagong hobby to take the mind off of this. Yun ang gagawin ko para hindi ako masyadong mag-worry. Baka one morning may invitation na sa email. Ang mahalaga you have one foot at the door already.

Reply to @Metaform: Oo nga.. Basta move forward lang, I'm sure ibibigay ni God kung ano ung para sau. Why not try to improve on you ielts? Malaki points din pangdagdag yun. Wala pa din pala result ung Vic SS mo. D bale pag naapprove un, sure na ung invitation diba? Ang tagal nga ng processing ng Victoria SS. Kaya yung sken di ko na hinintay eh.

yeah, let's not all lose hope... God way is higher that anybody's ways... basta niloob nya, ibibigay nya however difficult it is. Pray lang tayo and like what @Metaform said do our best to complete the requirements and let God do the rest.

Reply to @angel4ever: This week na lalabas yung remarking result ko. Fingers and legs crossed na sana maibigay yung additional 0.5 sa Speaking ko. As for Victoria SS, I doubt na magre-release sila ng invites same way as before dahil they have to abide by the occupation ceiling din. Anyway, bahala na si Bruce Wayne.

Magtatanong lang po regarding sa application ko.. Currently po kasi under review ng Engineers Australia yung CDR ko. Magagamit ko pa po ba yun considering sa new point system o useless na rin antayin? Thanks

Reply to @issa: Sa Education section, pwede kang mag-upload ng Microsoft or other professional trainings. Ilagay mo na rin certifications mo para searchable sya sa states and employers.

@ Metaform...yung date ang problema ko...kasi puro certification yun at wala talagang mga formal na trainings. Usually due to the nature of my work di na ako nadaan ng training derecho exam for the certification.

Good someone mentioned about the occupation ceiling...medyo nakaka-walang gana yung figures para sa iba sa atin pero bottomline is...na-rerefresh naman yan every 2 months so basta pigain natin lahat ng points na puwede nating kunin, makukuha rin tayo eventually hehe

Hi guys. I'm not sure kung tama ba 'tong thread na pagtatanungan ko.

I'm very much interested to work and live in ANZ but I don't know where to start.

To give you a background, I'm turning 33 years old this year and my work experiences are as follows:

Printer Technical Support Engineer (Distributor side under Xerox Middle East, Dubai, UAE)

October 2007 - January 2011

Printer Service Support Engineer (Fuji Xerox Philippines, Inc.)

November 2011 - Present

My Uncle is living in Sydney (permanent resident) which I can also ask for assistance if any.

And by the way, I just recently finished my B.S. Computer Science course at AMA Computer University last year of October 2011. Meaning to say, I'm an undergraduate when I was working in Dubai.

Sir @xnaldx, basa-basa ka muna sa <a href="http://www.deewr.gov.au/Skills/Programs/SkillsAssess/TRA/Pages/default.aspx">TRA Australia</a> for your skills assessment as an ICT Technician nec or Hardware Technician. Kapag nakapag-apply ka na ng assessment, review ka na sa IELTS. Then kapag nakuha mo na pareho yung results ng assessment and IELTS, lodge an EOI.

Sadly, hindi na pwedeng mag-sponsor yung uncle mo because Sydney is not a designated area.

Changes to the Skilled Migration Pass Mark for SkillSelect Visas – 15 June 2012

The department, has announced a change to the points test pass mark for skilled migrants who submit an Expression of Interest through SkillSelect.

From 1 July 2012, the points test pass mark for points tested skilled migration visas invited through SkillSelect (subclasses 189, 190 and 489) will be 60 points.

di ba binabaan nila ang points sa visa 190 to 60 points, pero bakit po sa booklet 6 is 65 points pa rin ang nakalagay. pag naka 60 points ba ako pwede na akong mag EOI. thanks for any clarifications in here.

Reply to @delreno: hello, ang pagkaka intindi ko po dyan sa changes ng pass mark na 60 ay alinsunod dun sa pagbabago ng mga code ng visa n pwede i-apply. dati kasi meron difference ang mga visa code depende sa kung saan k naglodge ng application m. meron kasi in and out of Australia. Pro, effective July 1 tinanggal n ung difference na un. Regardless kung saan k nagpa lodge ay pareho na ang visa code. Kaya ung 60 points ngaun ay applicable dun sa bago nila pinapatupad n visa codes, ung 65 naman ay dun sa mga dati ng nakapagpalodge ng application gamit ung former visa codes na hanggan ngaun ay hindi pa rin decided.

To simply put, lahat po ng mga nagpalodge ng application before July 1, 65 points ang pass mark, then un mga magpapalodge starting July 1 onwards ay 60 points na po ang pass mark.

i hope na clarify ko po sau ung question m. 🙂

Reply to @wynx: Salamat po sa clarifications, so pwede pong mag EOI na kahit 60 pa lang for offshore di po ba?. @hotshot hindi ko kasi nakita yung date ng pag update nila, kasi pag binuksan mo ang booklet 6 puro mga bagong visa na ang nandun, kaya salamat sa information..🙂
