Mga masters, magtatanong lang po ulit sana ako tungkol sa case ko kasi baka meron na sa inyo na same case sa akin.
Current Situation: I requested for a detailed COE from my previous employer but they replied that they could not provide what I was asking. According to them, due to confidential information, they can only give a standard COE which states the employment date, the position and salary. The also told me that the job descriptions cannot be printed on a paper with the company letterhead...again due to this confidentiality clause. So right now, I don't have any choice but to create a Stat Dec. I know some of my questions have been asked before but I'm still quite confused on how to go about it. So here they are:
1) Everytime I resign, I make sure to request for a standard COE from my employers before I go. So, sa previous employer ko, meron na akong standard COE pero dated back on 2008. Kelangan ko pa ba magrequest ng bago? Or pwedeng yun na ang ipasa ko kahit 2008 pa sya ginawa?
2) For the Stat Dec, paano po ba gumawa nun? May nakita akong format dito sa forum so balak ko gayahin na lang yun. Basically, from what I understand, it's just like a formal letter at sasabihin ko yung mga information na wala dun sa standard COE ko. Then, papapirmahan ko lang sa previous supervisor ko at nakalagay din lahat ng information about the supervisor. Yung letter...as if yung supervisor ang nagsulat (balak ko kasi ako na lang ang gagawa para wala na syang gagawin kung hindi pumirma na lang) hehe. Tama po ba?
3) Related sa previous question, isasama ko na din ba sa loob ng Stat Dec yung reason kung bakit di ako makapagbigay ng COE na may job description? So parang lumalabas, supervisor ko ang nageexplain kung bakit di pwede magbigay ng detailed COE ang HR?
4) Ano po ba yung "3rd party corroborative information"? Ipapa-certify ko lang sa Notary Public yung Stat Dec? Kelangan ba present din yung supervisor ko pag pina-notaryo ko yung Stat Dec?
5) Ok lang po ba na yung Stat Dec ko ay walang letterhead ng company? Bawal daw kasi sabi ni previous employer ko.
6) Given that I already have a standard COE (kelangan ko lang ng Stat Dec for the missing information like job description), do I still need to provide documents like payslips, tax forms, etc?
