Question po.

Ready na po documents ko for assessment sa ACS and almost 200 pages po including my job description. Notarised din po each page, ask ko lang sana kung lahat ba yun i uupload ko in a .pdf format or selected pages like front and back pages only kasama yung education credentials ko?

what documents have you included?

ang instruction kay ACS, dapat yung isang document na maraming pages consolidated to 1 pdf file.. example your Transcript of Records has 5 pages, scan the notarized or CTC copy into 1 pdf file.. so yung pdf file mo ng TOR consists of 5 pages..

this applies to all documents with multiple pages..

Eto ung actual assessment:

Company 1: feb 2001 - nov 2003

2 years 9months

Company 2: jan 2004 - aug 2004

0 years 0 mos (lack of evidence)

Company 3: dec 2004 - may 2006

0 years 0 mos (lack of evidence)

Company 4: may 2006 - may 2007

0 years 0 mos (lack of evidence)

Company 5: sep 2007 - sep 2008

1 year 0 months

Company 6: sep 2008 - oct 2011

3 years 1 month

Company 7: nov 2011 - feb 2013

1 year 3 months

So dapat 8years and 1mo di ba?

BUT -

Because he was assessed as bachelor degree ICT minor and NOT closely related, need nya ng 6years or 72 months minimum experience. After nun saka magcount ng puedeng iclaim. (<b>This is based from the new rule of ACS</b>)

So kung 72 months, eto ung considered na minimum experience nya

Company 1: feb 2001 - nov 2003 - 33mo

Company 2: jan 2004 - aug 2004 - 0

Company 3: dec 2004 - may 2006 - 0

Company 4: may 2006 - may 2007 - 0

Company 5: sep 2007 - sep 2008 - 12mo

Company 6: sep 2008 - oct 2011 - ito pro-rated

So: Sep 2008 - december 2010 - 27mo

Thus, after December 2010 pa start ng count ng skilled employment nya tlga.

This explains the statement:

“The following employment after December 2010 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 261311 (Analyst Programmer) of the ANZSCO Code.”

So ang puede lang nya iclaim:

Company 6: (pro-rated) jan 2011- oct 2011 - 10mos

Company 7: nov 2011 - feb 2013 - 15mos

So, 25months or 2years and 1mo

Ayan po yung mas detailed na explanation, para na rin makatulong sa mga maaapektuhan ng changes.

@jengrata prang sobrang laki nman ng changes ng ACS. Kung ma-attain mo nman yung 15pts mo sa work exp, sigurado mgsuffer nman yung pts mo sa age. Dun sa educ, bachelor degree with minor in computing, ilang pts pwd i-claim nito? Wla ba difference sa bachelor degree with major in computing ang pts?

@solidjeff i think attainable ung 15pts sa bachelor degree ICT major and closely related (not sure kung anong course pasok dito) na may 10 or more years of experience. Kasi 2years lang ang minimum experience so may 8 years ka pang matitira. 15pts pa rin yun. So kung 10years experience, Apr 2003 pa lang nagwork ka na. Ang gumagraduate ng 2003 ay nasa 20-22yrs old by that time. After 10yrs nasa 30 - 32 ka na. Pasok ka pa sa 30pts.

Ang magsuffer tlga sa bagong rules ng ACS is ung maa-assess ng bachelor ICT minor at diploma. Kasi min of 5years na agad mawawala sayo. And tama ka, magsuffer yung age nila kung magantay pa sila ng additional experience para lng makakuha ng points. Ganun din, dagdag-bawas lang mangyayari.

Sa education, based sa point test as of 2011 (ewan ko kung nagbago) basta bachelor degree ka regardless kung major or minor may 15pts ka pa din

@solidjeff Hindi ka affected dahil April pa lumabas ACS result mo. Yung mga new letters from May onwards ang affected.

@yhan, how about during DIAC processing, dapat wala din effect ano?

200 pages po kasi isinama ko overview ng job descriptions ko so nag explain ako kung ano ginagawa ko. I also wonder kung pano nila makikita yung stamp ng company ko sa bawat pages kung naka pdf file dapat.

Parang andame nga hehe ang mahal na ng bayad mo nyan pag nagpa CTC ka hehe double check mo muna if kelangan nga lahat ng docs.baka yung iba d naman.

@gabetrotter My gosh 200 pages samantalang sakin e max na un 4 pages per company. In my 10yrs career e wala pang 10 ata pinasa ko. Hehehehe.

Sometimes the more information you give, the more complicated situation can be. I suggest make it simple but straight to the point. Just my 2 cents.

@gabetrotter How many companies does that 200page file comprises?

1 company pa lang po in 5 years.

Yun po kasing job description ko ay may explanation kung pano ginagawa. Each system/tool kaya umabot ng ganon. Ano po ma susuggest nyo?

@gabetrotter whoa 1 company for 200 pages! I say that is way too much for a detailed COE. Please see a sample COE provided by ACS themselves:

It is simple but precise. Remember that assessors are knowledgeable about what skills they are assessing. So no need to explain like you are explaining to a completely clueless person.

I understand that you just want to make sure that this one will count. Do not worry because even if you pass just 1 page COE, they will assess it suitable as long as it contains notable information 🙂

Pero kung mas confident ka to pass 200 then its up to you. Wala naman sinabi si ACS ng maximum page eh.

Ui @jengrata thank you po. Napaka helpful po nung link na yan. Nag decide na din ako na i send na lang yung mas importante na pages kesa lahat ko i send. I notify ko nalang po na available for reference in case na mag request sila.

Gusto ko din po mag clarify kung 3 months ba ang minimun ng assessment nila after i release ang result and magkano po sa PHP ang assessment fee.
