@rguez06 salamat po sa info 🙂 kelangan ko po ng 5pts, which i think e makukuha ko sa state nomination or dapat maka 8 sa ielts para 70pts total. finger crossed 🙂

@iamfi actually 6 years, I submitted 6yrs and 9mos W.experience. akala ko kasi nung una walang mababawas na years sa experience, late ko na narealize ung assessment guidelines ng ACS. If yung school mo is accredited ng ACS or AUS educational institution wala ng work experience na kelangan in which wala namang kahit anong school sa Pinas na accredited. Kapag naqualify ung Bachelors degree mo into into major in ICT 4yrs i ommit sa W.E mo pag minor naman is 6yrs. you can submit any certifications pero maqualify lang cya as AQF diploma in which BS degree pa rin ang kukunin. check this out for more info

I guess yung 3yrs W.E mo, kukulangin pa rin para maging suitable ka for migration. you can try sa Engineers Australia, kasi may mga kakilala ako na walang nabawas sa W.E nila, nacredit lahat yun nga lang gagawa ka nung essay type. Goodluck!

@magoo_z oo nga po, actually if your work experience might have the same equivalent descriptions in Engineers Australia. I would suggest doon ka na lang mag pa assess since wala ata sila nung work experience requirement unlike sa ACS na konti nga lang ang hinihingi pero drawback naman sa W.E.

@winzky i answered your question dun sa kabilang post mo on how I went about the ACS deeming dates leaving me 0 points for XP... Victoria state sponsorship yung source ng lacking 5 points ko and nakuha ko lang din yung idea sa kaibigan kong si @rquez06 🙂

Like you, I also aimed at an IELTS 8 and even enrolled sa niners para dun hehe. but fortunately, I received an invite through VIC SS already. ECE din ako from section 1 school but my ANSZCO code is 261311 (Analyst Programmer) and ACS shaved 4 years worth of IT experience from my 6 years total IT exp.

Scores ko before remark L8.5, R7, W7.5, S6.5. Naparemark ko ung speaking ko to 7 and may refund. 🙂 Goodluck bro!

Ask ko lang guys, ganito kasi sabi sa kin:

"The following employment after February 2010 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 263212 (ICT Support Engineer)"

under ng paragraph neto yung tatlong experiences ko equivalent to 7yrs 8months. ibig sabihin ba nun related lahat ng tatlong experiences, kaya three years lang ang nacount dahil nagbabawas na sila sa years?

@jhayzapi 6years binawas ng acs sa experience mo. bawi nalang sa ielts at ss. kaya pa yan. understanding ko pag aqf diploma major tapos closely related eh 5 years lang tapos pag not-closely related 6years ibabawas. not sure bat sa case mo 6years binawas.try mo din i appeal.

@kickerz one thing sure sa assessment mo is that you have 4years work experience na pwede ma claim sa EOI. sa "ACS Summary of Criteria Requirements" wala naman naka indicate na 3 years deduction. either 2 years lang or 4years for non-closely related work experiance.

thank you sir, ibig sabihin sir behind 2010 hindi related? ang EOI po ba ang magdededuct? di po kasi saktong 4years, ngayong March 2014 lang magsasaktong 4 years ang experience ko. nung nagpasa ako sa ACS 3years ang 8months lang. sigurado po bang may 3years na ako sa EOI or babawasan pa nila? pasensya po.

I am a newbie here but been reading the informative threads here for few months already. 🙂

I started to lodge my application online to ACS this morning, and I have not submitted it yet as I have few queries. I hope you guys can help me advise on below newbie queries:

Employer Reference
How do I input my current job as "Present Date"? The online application requires an end date there.
Personal Details
I am married already. All my other docs are in my maiden surname of course, can I upload my birth certificate and marriage license along with my passport?
Qualifications
I am a Licensed ECE in PH and a Certified Tester. Can I upload these certificates here along with Diploma and TOR?
How about the Employment and/or IT relevant trainings. Are they relevant? Where do I upload these as well if yes?

Thanks in advance for the advice.

@kickerz - thanks sa info, kasama ako sa kabado sa result ng acs dahil ece din ako from section 2.

Nakausap ko dating classmate ko ng college na nasa oz na, 2011 sya nagpa-asses sa ACS and his agent says na mag RPL na agad due to insufficient computer subjects. Nacredit lahat ng experience na 7yrs, the thing is 2011 pa yun.

Kapit lang mga kapatid hahaha, waiting time remaining (52 days) for me. Sana may matirang experience pa sa 8yrs and 9 months ko kahit 3 years. =)

same sentiments tayo. sana din may matira na kahit 3years sa 8years din na experience. else talagang kelangan icareer ang ielts para maka 20points. kelan ka nag submit ng assessment?
