may question po ako, na-assessed na po ako ng acs at may result na last february. di ko na naasikaso from that day. may bago na po akong employer this august. may procedure po ba sila to update my current assessment or back to zero uli ako?

ok lng no need for re-assessment unless kulang ung number of years mo ng work experience at gusto mo isama yung current work mo sa iclaim na points. Kung hindi nmn sa EOI, select mo lng ung "no" dun sa work experience question na kung related ba sia sa nominated occupation para sa current work mo.

@sflor88 hi yung results ko lumabas nung jan 2014... hindi ko pa nga alam... babasahin ko pa lang ulit yung bago guidelines 🙂

Hi guys, Question naman po regarding Cisco certifications. I found out expired na pala yung certification ko and it would take months for me to renew it since I'll be taking all exams again. Is it ok to still include it in my application for assessment with ACS kahit expired na? Thanks in advance 🙂

Dapat cguro @vhancey ipa update mo muna Kasi I heard here na i-access Ng ACS yan. Good thing meron ka certification na ganyan Kasi equivalent yan sa educational qualification.

@heyits7me_mags thanks sa reply..just wondering ano kaya magiging assessment if I have 9yrs of work experience with BS Math maj in ComSci..actually I got suitable assessment nung 2009 pa as sys mgr nec..pero gusto ko sana pareassess for 263111 para pasok sa SOL.. pwede po kaya maconsider yung previous assessment pero with different nominated occupation para di ko na kailangan irenew yung cert ko kasi 6 na exams din yun..medyo matatagalan and magastos din kasi..any thoughts? tnx again 🙂

@vhiancey, ano pong section Ng school nyo. Pwede pong Makita Yung list Sa taas po right corner pero Hindi na daw updated Yan pero makakatuling. Pag section 1 po 2yrs. ang deduction Ng ACS Sa work experience. Pag section 2 nman 4yrs. Pag section 3 nman Yung school 4-6yrs. Try nyo tingnan Yung AQF google nyo kung anong Australian level Yung course nyo. Minsan po Kasi pag 4yrs. course dito sa Pinas. Diploma lang equivalent sa Australia. Yun nmang 5yrs. equivalent sa Bachelors Degree o 4yr. course sa Australia. Pwede nman po basta i-tailor nyo yung job description o i-match nyo yung job description sa 263111. Ang bachelor's degree po e equivalent po sa AQF Diploma. Yung grades po e kinoconsider lang kung under CEP Sec 2 ung school. Well, lahat po e depende pa din sa case officer. May mga considerate na case officer na kahit under Sec 3 ung school e tinatanggap pa din na AQF Bachelor’s degree.

Nor have I seen any official info re school secs.</blockquote> This information is non specific of the skills Assessing body. You will need to refer to the Australia Country Education Profile (CEP). CEP is a list of Universities in a specific country (e.g. Philippines) https://aei.gov.au/Services-And-Resources/Services/Country-Education-Profiles/about-cep/Pages/default.aspx

Unfortunately, an access is required for you to see the complete list.

So i have prepared for you a basic guideline, see below:

Section 1 – Leading and autonomous institutions

Section 2 – Deregulated and re-accredited institutions

Section 3 – Other institutions

Universities under CEP Section 2 with a

Bachelor’s degree qualification from the Philippines

4 years full-time

120-185 credits

Average grade of 1.00 to 2.00, (A to B, or more than 85%)

Is equivalent to AQF Bachelor Degree

Bachelor Degree qualification from the Philippines

4 years full-time

120-185 credits

Average grade of 2.00 to 3.00 (below B, or below 85%)

Is equivalent only to AQF Advanced Diploma

@heyitsme_mags appreciate your response..upon checking mukhang section 2 kasi I saw a note deregulated dun sa ToR ko..my average is between 1.0 -2.0 nmn po..then I patterned my job description accdg dun sa acs code for 2631111..

Malamang po @vhiancey, Bachelor's Degree yung educational qualification nyo equivalent po yan sa 15pts. Tapos po yung working exp. bka po 10-15pts. Minsan po depende sa CO yung deduction ng work may time po hindi po pare pareho. Sa amin po akala nmin abot kmi 15pts. sa work exp. Section 2 po school ni hubby. Yung grades po nya mga 2.0 average tapos 12yrs. work exp. Refer po kayo sa signature sa ibaba ng outcome nun ACS assessment ni hubby. 6yrs. na lang tinira ni ACS at AQF Associate Degree po hatol ni CO. Happy na rin po kmi kahit papano 🙂 O pano pa assess npo kayo, sir. Mas maaga mas favor po sa inyo dahil opening po ng financial year ng Oz ngayong July.

@vhiancey, sorry akala ko pare ka, hihihi. Meron mga conditions din ang state sponsorship depende sa state na a-apply-an mo. Kung pasok ksa 189 yun na lang makakapili kapa ng state na pupuntahan mo.

Just sharing the experience of my ex-colleague.

He migrated to Australia (Melbourne) last year around July 2013 under the visa of 190 (State Sponsorship). Then after 9 months walang mahanap na work as IT Auditor, it's either low demand or hindi nya mameet ang requirements to qualify sa position kasi bihirang-bihira daw ang interview nya.

Then, nagkaroon ng offer sa kanya but sa Brisbane. Ang rule kasi if state sponsored ka, you have to stay sa state for 2 years (it depends sa state policy siguro). For his case, he needed the job badly so he informed the government na kailangan nyang mag-move to Queensland dahil wala syang makitang work sa Melbourne. Nag-agree daw naman ang government at nakalipat na sila ng pamilya nya. Now, he is enjoying his job sa Brisbane together with his family.

Thank you Lord we received the results of ACS just now, submitted July 1, they gave AQF Bachelor Degree to my husband and almost 11 years experience as developer. Today is his speaking test. Take charge Lord....
