For EOI, anong date yung lalagay ko for Employment? Yung actual start date or yung Skill Level Requirement Met Date? Since meron sa EOI na tick if related sa skills?

Skill Level Requirement Met Date: October 2013

Duration of employment:

Company A: 10/11 - 01/15 (3yrs 3mths)

Company B: 03/15 - 05/16 (1yrs 2mths)

So for company A, should be Nov. 2013 lagay ko for EOI or Oct. 2011?

Company B, no concerns as this is my current employer.

Paano ifill up sa online application ang "experience"?

For example in my case, sa isang company may 2-3 roles.

Pero isa lang ang reference letter per company. Nakaindicate doon ang different roles pero magkakahalo na ang job description. Parang ganito:

She held the ff. positions:

Position 1 - From date - To date
Position 2 - From date - To date
Position 3 - From date - To date

During her stay, these were the duties and responsibilities she performed:

Duty 1
Duty 2

Sa ACS online app, pagdating sa "relevant experience" 3x ako mag eenter? Pero same attachment lang kasi isa lang certification?

Ok, I entered separate experiences for different roles and just used the same reference letters. Anyway, I paid via Mastercard. Good thing there's an e-receipt.

Meaning, Software Engineer for 189 and 190 has the same ceiling (basta combined ung pool dito)

Magrefresh naman siya sa July so tuloy lang ang mga preparations

@chewychewbacca I suggest you take this time to study and learn new things/technologies (though I know it's hard to concentrate while waiting). Remember, getting the visa is the easy part. Securing a good & stable job is the more challenging part. And since we're from the IT field, we have a LOT of competition. We really have to stand out among the other applicants. So make the most out of your idle time by learning new stuff that will help your future career.

I still think it's better to get Visa 189 (just to have a little leeway). Konting tiis na lang, July 1 na. Refresh na so baka by then ma-invite ka na. 🙂

I actually applied for Visa 189 last May 19 but I also applied for Visa 190 last May 25. Just in case. I'll be living in NSW (Sydney) rin talaga kasi andun lahat ng relatives and friends ko. So, either way, win win pa rin for me kung 189 or 190.

Oo nga po eh. I'm hoping that this July I get invited. Well, not only me but all those still waiting for the invite. Hehe

So I just entered separate entries for each position and uploaded the same reference letter for all belonging to the same company. I'll just wait for ACS reply if I did the right thing and give a feedback here.

Hi again, I have other questions.

My husband's a software tester. Do you think I can I get partner skills points for that? He has 8++ years work experience and BS IT graduate.

I'll be the main applicant and he's going to be included in the app. If I'm not going to get points for partner skills, does he still need to take IELTS? Or would his college degree be enough to say he knows how to speak English?
