If sobrang tagal na at wala pa rin invite, you can try and read about visa subclass 489 (+10 points kasi to pero regional area ka for 2 years minimum and hindi sya PR visa. Though my pathway sya to PR visa once na-satisfy mo yung conditions).
Regarding sa pagpapalit ng nominated occupation from dev/programmer to software engineer, pwede mo naman gawin yan. Pero I don't think may benefit yun dahil:
Kung titingnan mo, almost same lang din ang ginagawa ng dalawang occupation na yan. Sobrang related sa isa't isa.
Parehas naman sila na nasa SOL.

Hmmm medyo nakakafrustrate naman sila, asang asa pa naman ako na ok na un 60 ko, un pala pag inisip mo technically wala rin syang epek, dapat 65 talaga.. Pag isipan ko pa kung mag exam ulit ako or waiting game nalang, baka mag apply nadin ako sa 190, 489 is negative dahil di pasok un residence nung relative ko sa selected areas e.. di narin ako mag effort sa pagpalit ng nomination.
