Hi Guys, pwede ba gawin ko tong option since nahirapan ako mag request sa previous employer ko ng COE with Job description baguhin ko nalang tong start date ko sa current company ko para maka earn din ako ng years of experienced additional.

@joyz you could ask for generic COE, then if you're in PH - make an affidavit with job desc then sign it by your Team Lead or whoever is senior to you (if in case no response still from your IT manager). Never ever make any false claim to any of your documents - if let's say ACS successfully assessed your qualifications but then when you lodge your visa later on and DIBP found out, that would be much risky (and costly).

@joyz As far as I know, yes. Though I haven't experienced that but from what I read since I joined here, some just created another affidavit with job description and signed by manager due to strict policy of their HR. And yes, no company letterhead since affidavit is a legal document which has a template. Maybe others could confirm?

yes, inde na need ng company letterhead. parang statutory declaration na ung mangyayari. so inde mo lang dapat basta papirmahan sa it manager mo. dapat in the presence kayo ng notary public or lawyer.

I just got my assessment Ano po ba yung accepted number of assessed # of years sakin as a software engineer 1yr and 1 month or 3 yrs? Eto yung letter :

@pmond Yup ang magamit mo lang to claim points is yung exp mo sa Company C.

@joyz I did the same thing. One of my previous companies does not provide COE with JD so gumawa lang ako ng Stat Dec and had a superior sign it. No need for it to be on a company letterhead. Just make sure to include contact details of your superior in the document and to have this document notarized.

May incident na po ba na hindi nag bawas ng exp si acs? Or by default nagbabawas talaga sila?

@pmond based sa result na binigay sayo ng ACS, 1 yr 1 month lang ang relevant experience na pwedeng maclaim for points kasi sabi "after November 2015".

so far wala pa akong naencounter na walang bawas, usually 2 years ang binabawas.. or more..

Hi Guys, Tumawag ako sa IT Manager ko at gagawa nalang ako ng certificate with job description with company letterhead na po at perpermahan nalang daw po nya. pwede po ba yon IT Manager ko nalang peperma? simpleng certificate lang sya na naka letterhead. salamat
