@just.anotherguy STSOL, it depends sa states kung nandun yung occupation mo sa list. Please note that states can change or remove the list as they please depending on their need. It doesnt mean na nasa list doon occupation mo, they are to approve your state nomination.. may own criteria sila to approve and even if you meet all their criteria, it is upon the states discretion to approve the nomination

Unlike sa MTSSL, occupations undergo some review by the DoHA consulting other labour and business bodies to know the demand Australia-wide. For me, it is a more stable list compared to STSOL

@just.anotherguy you need to nominate an occupation where your skills assessment outcome will likely be successful the most. Choosing an occupation because it is on mltssl or stsol is not the best approach to start with.

@RheaMARN1171933 the duties of 263111 and 263112 (Network Engineer & Network Admin) are almost interchangeable na din kasi.

hati lang yung loob ko dahil, yes ang 263111 is needed for the long term, kaso i can only go as max as 65points (given that ACS will deduct work experience pa).

Whereas if i choose to nominate 263112, possible to try visa 190(+5), or even visa 489(+10)

Either wala na, or sobrang taas na ng requirement nang 263111 sa mga state nominations, as of this writing.

@just.anotherguy you need to base it on the ANZSCO description and choose which tasks you do the most under the occupation. Nevertheless, they are still different occupations and you must provide evidences based on the tasks described in ANZSCO. This is how we guide our clients. All the best.

para sa reference na din ng iba, for 2631 occupations ng mga states:

Western Australia: wala

Tasmania: wala

North: pwede 263112, 113. pero kelangan may Job Offer ka na.

Queensland: pwede 263112, 113. pero kelangan Master's graduate ka from a Queensland university.

South: pwede 263111 (subject to the additional conditions*), 112, 113. Required minimum points is 70 points, and they will issue visa 489 only.

New South Wales: pwede 263111. pero highest point priority. kung sino pinaka mataas points, sya mauunang i-invite. (kung mataas points mo, eh di sana mag 189 ka na lang 😃 )

Victoria (Melbourne): pwede 263111, you need to have Superior english and a minimum of 3 years work experience (i'm assuming this is the ACS assessed experience and not just based from your CV ? ) for visa 489, you need to have a job offer.

@RheaMARN1171933 thanks sa advise. Kaya po ako nalilito, kasi yung Description of Employment Duties, and Description of Closely Related Core ICT Units for 263111 and 112 are exactly the same. Yung first paragraph lang ang nag iba.

Then, yung work experiences ko kasi is a mix of 111 and 112 responsibilities, if pagbabasehan yung first paragraph.

Can I use the same assessment result if ever i am to lodge an EOI for visa 190?

May question ulit. Anyone po can answer.

Saan mas kina kailangan ng developers or programmers (261312), sa VIC po ba? or sa NSW?

I know both states need them, pero there has to be one state na mas nangangailangan between the two.

Kasi baka mag apply ako for VIC, and then rejected naman pala or matagal, kumpara sa NSW na mabilis. Dunno.

Or worse, baka kapag nasa VIC na eh pahirapan rin naman makakuha ang mga pinoy for IT jobs tulad ng developers/programmers when it comes to the factors below:

No Australian local work experience
Low salary for non-locals
Racial discrimination (sana wala)

I've heard someone who managed to read a lot about the difficulty of getting IT jobs in VIC.

@NoelRubio Victoria is the IT hub of Australia. However, I don't think you'll ever get an accurate answer to your question. Everything is a gamble without any guarantees promised in the end.

Hi everyone, I need your opinion. Kasi mag-appeal ako sa ACS. Ok po ba itong mensahe ko?

Dalawa kasi pinasa ko na qualification, BS-IT at MCSD (AQF Diploma sana), ang problem yung BS-IT lang ang included sa assessment letter.
4 years binawas sakin, so try ko silang i-conviced to changed it two years by providing the course description.

Here's my pending appeal message:

Dear sir/madam,

I would like to appeal with regards to the assessment result particularly for qualification and experience.

A. Qualification: I have submitted two episodes for my qualification, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer. The first one has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree with a Major in computing, how about the other one, my MCSD? why it is not included in the assessment letter? can you please kindly assess it and include in the letter as well. I'm aware that I can only claim points for the Bachelor Degree.

B. Experience: I believe that I should only be deducted two years instead of four years on my work experience because my qualification, Bachelor of Scienece in Information Technology was asessed as having an ICT major and have atleast 65% closely related to Software Engineer, my nominated occupation. The following are the course description of all the ICT-related units that I have taken, which I hope will give you more details aside from my Transcript of Records that I have uploaded before.

Hi everyone. Can someone please clarify if I am correct in understanding the following:

If I qualify as Diploma Advanced Diploma Associate Degree ICT Major, closely related to nominated occupation... and if I have a total of 14 years relevant work experience... most likely ACS will deduct 6 years off my experience and they will only count 8 years as "Skilled Employment", which then I qualify for 15 points?

Am I understanding this correctly or am i mistaken?

Questions about ACS Skills Assessment Application:

To whom do we address our COE? To Australia Migration department or to ACS? Can I have the complete Addressee Details?
Is anybody here the same situation as mine: BS-IT Graduate, applying for 261111 - ICT Business Analysts with only 5 years work experience and still the ACS deducted the minimum of 2 years?
It will take 10-12 weeks processing time according to Feb 2018 update from ACS, with this - pwede ba mag pa-assess for two ANZSCO codes ng sabay, para hindi sayang yung waiting time if ever? If yes, dalawang bayad rin po ba yun?

@carrotcake you can only claim work experience within the last 10 years. So if your qualification is equivalent to a AQF diploma, you'll be left with 4 years to claim.

yung address ng ACS you can check sa site nila
deduction of 2 years ay minimum na bawas nila if bachelor's degree and major in computing and assessment sayo pero kung diploma lang or minor mas malaki ang deduction.
pwede naman sabay mo ipa assess yung dalawang occupation pero dalawang bayad din yan.

na-notarize na kase yung Original Copy, pero wala pa pala akong xerox.

@raine2oz all docs na ipapasa mo sa ACS need to be CTC except sa CV.
