Tanong ko lang po kung ba ang naapprove na start date sa akin ay parang ganito

The following employment after April 2010 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 261312 (Developer Programmer) of the ANZSCO Code.

Pero yun result ko ng ACS ay last December 2017 pa. Pwede ko ba baguhin yun EOI ko to update na 8years na yung years of experience ko? Still working pa din ako sa current work ko.

@tamadjuan yes pwede mo e count yung work exp mo upto current date basta mag provide ka lang ng latest COE mo. pero hindi pa din 8yrs ma cocount sayo kasi may start ng count ng work experience mo is May 2010 so sa May 2018 ka pa pwede mag claim ng 8yrs.

Yes, I'm also considering a review or appeal application. Might cost around PhP16K though. Nagdadalawang isip pa kaz ako kung mataas chance na gawing AQF bachelor degree qualification ko.

Sana may same case scenario na experience ibang readers dito at kung positive appeal nila for advice 😃

@RheaMARN1171933 Yeah, I asked acs regarding my assessment. Gabi na nung nabasa ko ung result which made me sleepless lol. haha. Kinaumagahan, still can't get over it so I replied sa email nila. But based kaz sa email nila parang fixed na un pero entitled naman daw ako for formal appeal daw as they can't provide assessment reference.

Factors taken into consideration included the country of origin, Australian government recommendations, international classifications and accreditation of the institution; the category/education grouping, quality and type of the institution, division/class and duration of the degree and admission requirements.

Due to privacy and copywrite laws, the ACS is unable to provide applicants with source assessment references used in determining the comparability of qualifications.</i>

Still hoping other readers here who have the same case - pahingi advice 😃

@biz_go I'm not sure about their reply as I've never received such message so far from them. As a migration agent, I would normally ask an explanation on behalf of my client if ever we've received such decision. Most likely, I will refer to the country education profile records and would demand an explanation from them. Perhaps they're more open to disclose these things with agents vs the actual applicant.

Any idea if the duration of the course/degree a high consideration on the assessment? Worried it might be because I took the degree for only 3 years since it's trimester basis. Have you had any client with a 3-year degree and still got an AQF Bachelor Degree?

@biz_go DLSU is trimester and is always recognised as equivalent to an Australian degree. Might be worth mentioning that your university is trimester in your appeal. All the best. It's really strange that they don't give you any explanation as they would even let me know why they won't accept the stat Dec (for example) the client provided.

@RheaMARN1171933 Thanks a lot. Still reviewing my TOR against that of my nominated ANZSCO Code 261312 (Developer Programmer). Will include the CEP reference, 3-year duration and mentioning it's trimester basis and my GPA in my appeal.

@biz_go honestly, I don't think that's not even grounds for appeal as I can imagine there might be an oversight they're end. If I would have been your migration agent, I would have demanded an explanation before advising my client to apply for an appeal as I believe the applicant should not shoulder a mistake made by the assessing officer (if indeed is a mistake their end).

Hi All, may question po ulit ako. I already submitted an ACS assessment last year, and yesterday nagsubmit ulit ako with an addition of one new company which I'm currently working. I know case to case basis, pero will it take 6-8wks of processing again? I even received an email (1am AU time) that it might take 12wks!! anyway, just want to ask how's the experience of people with similar case like me. thanks in advance.

Note: I hate to ask this kasi I sa tingin ko may nakapagtanong na, pero nagtry din ako magsearch dito sa forum and there's just too much results.

@tamadjuan from our experience with previous clients we had, they usually say 6-8 weeks but most often than not they have a decision sooner. Good luck!

@kriskringle kapag skilled migration GT po sa IELTS

@kriskringle GT and Academic are both accepted for Skilled migration. But most skilled migrants used GT.

@kriskringle General is accepted by the Home Affairs. Don't forget to also consider PTE.
