Hi! Paano po pala pagworking student? I worked in an IT company since I was in 3rd year college. Di naman po ba magkakaroon problem sa assessment yun? Overlapping issue.

@bananaboyet hindi po included yung experience before graduation.. credited lang yung work exp after graduation.

@bananaboyet yup ang pagkakaalam ko they will only considered the work exp after you have finished your degree.

@bananaboyet you mean papa assess mo din? pwede siguro pero you have to indicate na hindi pa actual work exp.

@Hunter_08 Yes for assessment. Technically magoverlap sya. 2015 ako grumaduate 2014 to 2017 nagwork ako sa isang IT company.

@bananaboyet pwede mo naman gawin from 2015-2017 yung COE mo... if you want na malinaw tlga yung assessment sayo.

@Hunter_08 Yun yung prob ko. Under ibang management na yung company. Nagiba nadin ng name. Binili sya ng isa pangcompany. So parang di na sya nageexist.

@bananaboyet I would say, just hand in an employment letter with the actual employment dates. If you've started in 2014 then just put that in. Nothing to lose if you declare it. However, it looks like university has to be in section 1 so that 2 years lang ang ibabawas otherwise your skills assessment won't be successful. With regards to your letter, a stat Dec can replace the employment letter.

Here's an update guys regarding my first assessment result.

I submitted an appeal application as my education was assessed as Advance Diploma equivalent. This morning, I received a new assessment and it is now AQF Bachelor Degree.

Thank you so much @RheaMARN1171933 and @Heprex for answering my queries and made me feel the need to submit an appeal application.

@HELEN28 So there, naalala ko sabi mo medyo same tayo situation 😃

By the way, the appeal took less than 2 weeks. The first assessment took I think 8 weeks.

Hi all. I'm an ECE Graduate (5 years). Question: 1) how were your skills assessed (for those who graduated ECE, too). 2) And do grades matter?

Also, saw the ANZCO code and responsibilities for Developer/Programmer, and the description is exactly what my work is currently. Would it be okay if I request for the CoE with the duties/responsibilities copy-pasted? Again, it's exactly what I do. Did anybody else do this and got an undesirable result from ACS?

@biz_go if you have provided evidence na more than 85% yung GPA mo in your initial assessment, the annoying part is if I was your agent I would have fought for your case and ask for your appeal fee to be waived as it would seem there is a lapse of judgement their end...oh well.

Hello everyone, i'd like to ask regarding educational background, I was assessed with AQF Diploma equivalent for my bachelor's degree and for my Cisco certification. My question is, will I be given separate point for each? Meaning 10pts for the Bachelors degree and another 10pts for the Cisco certification? Hoping someone have the same case that can answer. Thank you!
