The AU company isn’t your employer so you can’t submit an employment reference letter from them. Read the acs guideline, this will help you. All the best

Hello, planning to pursue po sana yung EOI ko, currently working po as SAP Administrator dito sa Manila for nine years na, any suggestion po if I should review and take IELTS or PTE first before magsumbit ng EOI? Saan po ba mas ok magpaassess sa ACS po ba mismo or sa Vestassess?

Looks like you need to do further research pa. You can’t lodge an EOI if you’ve not done your skills assessment. Prioritise thus first then English then EOI. Skills assessment is the make or break. Needs to be done before anything else.

Gusto ko sana sa ACS muna mag pa assess bago sa EA. Medyo matrabaho sa EA at mahal ang cost.

Nope, they stopped requiring authenticated or certified true copy of documents.

I suggest you open all the links and read them thoroughly. Lahat ng information na need mo andyan na, especially in the Guidelines and the Checklist.

Hello, just submitted my documents for skills assessment sa ACS.

May mga questions po ako and sana may makatulong sa akin. Little background lang po muna:

College: BSCS in AMA Computer College

1st employer: feb 2005 - feb 2007 (2 yrs)

2nd employer: mar 2007 - oct 2010 (3 yrs 7 mo)

3rd employer: nov 2010 - oct 2022 (11 yrs 11 mo)

Dahil section 3 lang ang school ko, automatic 10 points lang ang pwede ko makuha sa education no? Kasi hindi mare recognize ang Bachelor degree ko para maka claim ng 15 points?
Dahil hindi recognized ang education ko as Bachelor's degree (afaik), ilan kayang years of XP ang mababawas sa akin? Ang alam ko ay 5, pero base sa mga nababasa ko dito at sa facebook groups, merong more than 5, meron din namang less than 5.
Yung years na ibabawas nila sa XP ko to compensate for my Degree, dun naman nila ibabawas yun sa 1st and 2nd employer ko no? Kahit lampas na siya sa 10 years?
Totoo pa din kaya yung nabasa ko a few pages ago na kahit 65 points ay nai invite sa 189 visa basta offshore? Parang ang mga nakikita ko kasi sa facebook, puro 85+ lang e. Kasi sa case ko mukhang 75-80 lang ang max points na maiipon ko.

Not really sure how ACS deduct points but this is based on our experience.

We are from section 2 schools.

In 2018, ACS deducted 4 years for H (Adv Diploma) and 2 years for W (Bachelor, got bachelor bcoz of GPA)

In 2022, ACS deducted 6 years for H (Adv Diploma) and 4 years for W (Bachelor)

H started working in July 2017 and W in May 2019 - ACS credited all work experiences.

Note: This is just my observation, they will credit the points beyond 10 years however the skilled date deemed will be adjusted based on the last 10 years. But I think we need more data to validate this observation.

For 189, they are inviting 65 points but currently not from our profession. From the last round (Dec 2022) they are inviting 85+ IT professionals. Search for skillselect invitation rounds for more info.

You might want to consider 190 which is state-sponsored. You need to secure 65 points and satisfy the state selection criteria.

Yes, 10 points max kasi the only way na maging bachelor's degree ang assessment from section 2 or section 3 is if may board exam (which is wala for CS/IT)
It could be 5 years or 6 years deduction, pero magrefer ka sa ACS guidelines. Meron dung table na nakalagay ilang years ibabawas nila depende kung ICT major or ICT minor yung degree

Marami pong naiinvite ngayon, both 189 and 190. Basta maglodge po kayo ng EOI as soon as possible 🙂

May isa pa po pala akong tanong, if ever nakulangan ang ACS sa documents na pinadala ng applicant, nagrerequest naman sila through email no?

at kapat naibigay mo na yung additional na hinihingi nila, napa process ba nila kaagad yun? or balik ka naman sa mahabang antayan?
