I suggest to pursue the anzsco code positively assessed by ACS. Both 189 and 190 are PR visas, it's just that 189 is a more flexible than 190. All the more pursue 190 (vic) since you have a relative there. It's not guaranteed that you'll land a job on your current expertise when you're granted a visa. There are several factors and a bit of luck involved. What's important for now is to secure a PR visa, then take the next step thereafter.

Thank you for the advice! 🙏 I was really hesitant about going the QA Engineer pathway since my recent experience is more aligned with ServiceNow consulting, but I realize now the most important step is to secure PR first. Once that’s done, I’ll have more flexibility to explore other roles.

Right now I’m preparing for the PTE exam to boost my points, but I’m not sure if I’m ready to take it yet. Any tips on how to know if I should already book the test, or better to keep practicing until I consistently hit the target score in mock exams?

Practice makes progress. Mock test and actual test day will be different in terms of environment and pressure. Tamang practice lang siguro, then take the exam within a week para fresh pa rin yung napractice mo.

Hi Everyone!

Mag-e-expire na soon yung ACS assessment ko and I’m planning to apply for re-assessment. Same company pa rin ako since my last assessment, pero na-promote ako last January 2025.

Tanong ko lang, required ba na naka-indicate lahat ng positions (including promotion) sa Employment Reference Letter/CoE? Nakabasa kasi ako ng format sa ACS para sa multiple positions. Ang issue lang, auto-generated yung CoE namin so current position lang ang lumalabas, hindi kasama yung previous roles.

May naka-experience na ba ng same situation? Pa-share naman ng advice or insights. Thanks in advance! 🙏

Mikasa_ if you think hindi naman kailangan yung new role mo sa assessment, i don't think it's necessary to include those... unless ipapa assess mo siya sa other occupation

casssie hello! tanong ko lang po paano if nag close na ung company, di ko na din ma access ung company website namin, paano po kaya un ilalagay sa COE ko kasi nirequire nila na may website eh.

Hello po, pa check naman po kung tama parin yung pagkakaintindi ko.

Ang napa assess ko po ay from 2012 at lahat naman po nakalagay as closely related sa acs result.

Okay lang po ba na from 2012 ang nilagay ko sa employment? Kasi lampas 10years na po pala
Ano po ba ang tama? Mag "yes" ako after ng 30-Apr-2016 or dapat ba from 30-Apr-2016 na? Bale dito sa screenshot hinati ko po yung date ng same company.

May nabasa kasi ako na nagclaim sila ng points from suitable date mismo at ang isa naman after na ng suitable date. Kaya medyo naguluhan po ako.

trafalgar I think ok lng kahit alin jan since 8yrs and above na for both..the points claimed would be the same dba?..yung sakin ginawa ko is yung may deduction na 4 years..dun ako nagclaim..ang importente is di ka nagoverclaim ng points?

trafalgar Yes, ganyan rin ginawa ko sa EOI ni misis. A day after nung deemed date ako nag start ng "YES".

Sa NSW last year meron silang policy na pwede iclaim yung points basta closely related siya sa nominated occupation..ignore lng yung 4 years na usual deduction ni acs..something to that effect..

Also, since closed na ung company, at di na verifiable ung company website at yung manager's email address (since hindi pwede ung personal email address), would they probably require additional document to prove na closed na ung company or would they probably not consider my employment yrs?

MaceyV Sa experience namin before, meron isang company na hindi makpag bigay ng coe, ang ginawa nmin is yung dati nyang katrabaho na senior ang pina pirma nmin sa coe with his personal contact number, at that time both of them ay wala na sa company na yun. So far wala nman naging comment si ACS and positive nman yung assessment. Sa COE wala rin company website.

sherwinner1992 iba pa ata yung statutory declaration which ibang way rin to provide docs if wala kang makuha na COE or any pay slip to support sa experience na gusto mo claim.

may idea ka sir if need ng letter from the company if di sila makakaprovide ng reference letter. ito kasi nakalagay sa ACS website.

Statutory declarations and affidavits will only be accepted in situations where an applicant is unable to obtain an Employment Reference. The applicant will be required to provide a letter or official email from the company explaining why an employment reference letter cannot be provided.

sherwinner1992 yung company ko sa pinas nagbibigay ng ganitong letter...pero may kakilala ako na hindi naman nag provide ng ganito okay naman...i think kahit email or confirmation from them na hindi sila nagbibigay is enough..
