Yes pwede kang gumawa ng draft ng sarili mong COE based sa requirements ng DIBP then ipa-review mo and approve sa HR or previous boss mo...

make sure to follow yung exactly yung requirements para hindi na rin masayang yung time mo sa pagrrequest sa previous company mo since offshore kana pala... nasa DIBP website yung details..

and mga bro ask ko lang opinion nyo mas ok ba kasama ang family nyo or kayo muna tapos pag settle na, saka nyo sila kunin? worried lang kasi ako if ever kasi mag 4 pa lang yong kid ko. i been working outside pinas kaya i know mahirap, kaya nmn nag plan ako mag aus for good kasi mas may future and advantage ang kid ko sa aus compare sa pinas with regards sa standard of life and searching for work.

@hoel07 yup Melbourne ako pero naghahanap pa lang din ng work. di ako sure kung madali bro, depende kasi sa kung saang IT field. Try mo na lang search sa seek.com.au or carreerone.com.au yung work title mo or description. almost lahat yata ng IT work naka online na ang ads.

regarding sa pag move in naman dito, para sa akin kung may enough budget ka pwede naman sabay sabay. Kaya lang sabi nila minsan umaabot ng 1 month or more before ma approve yung application for rental. so most likely kakailanganin mag hotel muna. tapos sabi daw kung wala pa kasi work dapat meron kang show money sa real property agent na around 6 months equivalent nung monthly rental.

@Azia Oh wow! We lodged our application last November 19. But since they requested for additional pedia assessment for our toddler (which has already been accepted as today), we're still waiting for the "golden ticket". We were allocated a CO last feb 5th

@kpams May I ask what are the assessment being done by pedia? Meron kasi ako 5-year old son, and I wonder kung ano yung assessment na gagawin sa kanya.

@nice_guy my son has a history of speech delay so they wanted to do further testing through Intelliprime Cebu (because we're from cag de oro so cebu was nearer). It was like an IQ test called the WPPSI and it cost us 15,000 php (more expensive than the usual medicals). i don't think they ask that for all young kids though 🙂

@kpams Very much alike pala case natin. Delayed din speech ng anak ko. Ilang taon na anak mo? Worry ko baka ganun din i require sa amin.

By the way, how did they know na may history ng speech delay anak mo?

@nice_guy turning 3 this april. when we had the medicals, they doctor just did a physical exam on him (no labs or x-ray until the child is 10 ata). tapos he was asked questions like "what's your name?" "how old are you?" tapos he was asked to draw a circle (they have this booklet or guide they follow according to the tasks expected of a certain age group). The thing is, medyo napagod na yung kid naman kasi straight from the airport, diretso kami sa clinic tapos when we got there it took like 3 hours until he was examined. the place was new to him tapos he was tired pa so he wasnt cooperating or answering. And since we had him assessed noon pa when he was around 18 months old, we emailed the clinic the developmental assessment and I think they attached that to our health checks.

@kpams Mukhang magiging problema namin eto. Yung son ko kasi, 5 years old na but hindi pa din ganun ka ayos magsalita, especially pag mabilis. Anyway, i practice ko na xa starting now na mag draw ng circle/shapes. hehe

Hi @chichan! Yung tinitirahan ko ngayon, dito ko sa pinoyau nahanap. isa lang yun sila na may posting last month ng room for rent dito sa Melbourne. Pero meron din naman ako nakikita sa homely.com.au at flatmates.com.au kaya lang mga locals siguro ang magiging landlord niyo. Family ba kayo na mag move?

@wizardofOz bro. i just want to ask. can i claim points on my post graduate studies, completed only the required units as per syllabus. or should i go for my bachelor degree.? or can i pass a copy of both my transcript and diploma.

and after gathering all my documents where should i send?

@indahaws bro do you have guide on your application and link on all the required forms?

and how much is the required amount on the application upon settlement in aus

For claiming points for Education, you need to have your credentials assessed by the relevant Assessing Authority (e.g. Engineers Australia) first...

@chichan i see. check lang kayo lagi dito sa forum. yung sakin ay na arrange and confirm ko na before arriving. pumayag naman sila dito na 2 months minimum. tapos nag advance and deposit lang ako.

@hoel07 Bro, as what wizardofOz said. yung assesing authority yung mag determine diyan. Suggest ko na lang siguro na submit mo lang lahat sa ACS. Basahin mo lang lahat ng guide dito: https://www.acs.org.au/migration-skills-assessment
