That Visa Grant Moment! - Ano Ba Yung Feeling?

It has been a year nung ngupdate ako dito. Been busy with pregnancy (2nd baby), work, online shop, and prepare docs for pr application. Kkgrant lang ng visa namin last july6. Buti naihabol pa c bunso sa pg apply ng visa. That moment nung ngtext c agent na granted ang visa namin, dpa muna ngsync in sa akin kc naalimpungatan lang ako nung binasa ko ung text. Nightshft ako kaya windang nung ngising. Though conscious naman ako nung nabasa ko pero lam mo ung feeling normal lang? Pero nung next na paggising, cnb ko sa asawa ko. Aun tuloy2 na ligaya! Hahaha delayed reaction ba until now. Nangangarap kung anu na ggwin namin sa Aussie. Hehehehe. Plan2 kmi kung saan kmi ttira. It would be totally a different environment for us. Anyway, I'll take this opportunity na rin to ask you guy where is the best place to live in Aussie? We wanted a family-oriented place, cympre ung may madaling mkuhang trabaho ganun ba...

@cholle kmusta nman po yung paghahanap ng work sa field mo? Same field kc tayo (science) at wla kc ko msyado nkikita sa mga forum usually IT. MAg apply palang kami for visa 190, got SS from NSW. Ndi ba mahirap maghanap ng work related sa field natin sa NSW?

initial reaction: confused. kasi usually ung visa successful applications natanggap ko has the word "approved". sobrang hinanap ko ung word na un, pero wala akong nakita. kaya di sigurado 🙂

@elleb1 Hi! Sorry ngayon lang ako nakabalik sa forum. I work in a different industry now pero may kilala akong GIS Specialist who found work in Melbourne. Dito sa NSW you can try local councils or government offices, some of them are looking for GIS people

Haha salamat sa tag. Same question din ako bago nakuha grant.

So nakuha ko email sa phone and ang bilis ng tibok ng puso ko then katabi ko hubby. Sabi ko may grant na. Pero sabi ko calmly wait we have to check and read in the computer. So chineck ko muna yung pdf files, immi account and VEVO lol to make sure na mayroon na nga and hindi scam haha.

Ayun happy and we jump and hug then after I felt empty. The whole thing was eating me for a month then after nawala yung stress eh. Biglaan.We waited for it for 2 years. I kinda dreamt for it for 5 years Haha until now di ako makapaniwala 🙂 Woke up and asked myself again, is it really over? Lol

"I was about to loose hope in waiting for a month considering complete submission of consent to CO required document of our youngest son for the FORM 815 last June 29. I daily opened my email for any message that would pop out for that golden visa grant notification but I ended up envious from other candidates who had received theirs. Until our family had a vacation trip for 9 days to HK to visit my mother in law and vacation for our children. It was on our 3rd day from our vacation that my agent had sent me a skype message that I should contact them immediately. I knew it meant two things, either our CO is requesting another document to submit or this is it. I was relieved and jump for joy as it is confirmed from her saying - Sir, we had received all your visa grants today, congratulations!" :x

I belong to the last batch of applicants before nag change sa EOI system kaya ang daming applicants nun. Tapos na delay pa health results kaya tarantang taranta dahil mag 9 months since I lodged at wala pang results.

Napapaisip ako kung may na miss out ba ako or something? I kept copies of all my app documents so binabasa basa ko pa kunyari may mali ba akong nilagay.

Then one day at work, I went back to my desk at 1 pm and checked my personal email kasi I ordered something online and ang tagal dumating ng confirmation and receipt tapos yun lumitaw ang grant letter! Di ako makapaniwala. Halos di na ako nakatrabaho nung araw na yun.

It took me years before I made the final move but suddenly I was less stressed sa work kahit bumigat workload ko at halos araw araw na ako pumapasok. It feels different when you know you have the option to leave.

I fee like I want to quit my job right away and fly to Au na. Ganun ka excited after learning na granted na.

Pero when I was waiting pa lang. I was so positive na maka visa grant kami, and I was just like waiting for confirmation kasi parang claim ko na visa grant na kaya nun nag inform agent @RheaMARN1171933 na granted na. Parang oh confirmed na. Was so happy with butterflies in the stomach thing haha
