To be eligible for a child visa, you must be someone who is under 18 years of age, or a full time student between 18 and 24 years of age, or over 18 and unable to work due to a disability. You must be dependent on your Australian parent and must not be engaged, married or have a de facto partner. If you do not meet these criteria you will need to find another type of visa that you will be eligible for, try our Work or Visit visas.
There may be additional criteria that you must meet depending on what type of visa you apply for.
