@rkmg Hi, he still needs to study to become an RN here in Au. With his soon-to-be experience he can either take a bridging course which only takes for 3 mos or opt for a conversion course which may take a year or 2 depending on the uni that he's going to enrol in. With the bridging visa, I've heard that some were able to stay here by getting another visa like tourist visa but the downside is, it doesn't have work rights. Kung hindi naman issue na hindi siya makapagwork, he can stay here so that he can process all the paperworks for AHPRA, ANMAC and PR and wait for the result of his application na rin. Kung uuwi naman siya, wala namang magiging problema, kasi he can still lodge his application overseas and once he gets the PR he can go to Au straightaway. Based on our experience as long as complete ang papers mo, you'll have a chance for a direct grant and mabilis lang like shortest is 7days from lodgement of PR application, provided of course na hindi magbago yung rules ng immi. π Godbless.
