Just to share. I sent an email to Philippine Embassy in Singapore regarding NBI. eto reply nila saken

You may go to Window 1 of Phil Emb and ask for a set of nbi application form . Then you will be guided to the office of Defence for fingerprinting.

Bring along the ff:

2 - passport size pic

photocopyof passport

photocopy of IC

HI po nga ka forumers, Ask ko lang po ano po ba ang validity ng NBI cleareance natin na accepted ng DIAC? Kasi nakakuha na po ako nung last October dyan sa Manila. And another thing pow, required din ba kumuha ng NBI clearance at police clearance ang dependent natin primarily yung spouse. Ako po yung main applicant. Maraming salamat po.

Reply to @Abbott: based po sa mga nabasa ko kung ano yung earliest na mag-expire sa medical and penal clearances ang magsasabi kung ano ang latest entry date ng visa nyo

Gaano po ba katagal ang processing ng NBI? Andito po ako sa abroad and ipa-process ko po sa nanay ko yung NBI namin.

At saka kailangan na ba agad ng NBI?

@jeffrey - you will only need NBI pag nag sabi na ang Case Officer.. pero since nasa abroad ka rin.. tantyahin mo kung malapit na mag ka CO.. para alam mo din kung kelan mag apply ng NBI..

FYi!.. i posted the process how to get NBI clearance from US.. hanapin mo na lang dito... or check website ng phil embassy dito sa US.

@batobats thanks sa reply. May second question pa po ako dun sa earlier post ko. Kukuha din ba ng nbi yung dependent ko which in my case my wife at son. Required ba sila? Thanks....

@Abbott : for my wife, they also asked for Police Clearances. Di ko lang po sure sa mga anak kasi wala pa po akong anak so kami lang ng wife ko sa application namin. hehehe

Reply to @Abbott: basta po kasama sa application po, kelangan din po kumuha ng NBI and medical. Ako po primary applicant and hubby ko po secondary. we were both asked to submit NBI po and medical. 🙂

Question lang po... Taga SG po kame, at kumuha na po kame ng nbi sa embassy. We were informed to mail the forms to our relatives in manila... At sinabe nila to have it authenticated? Sabi ng embassy, mail to relative, tapos relative processes the application on our behalf, claim the nbi clearance, then pa authenticate pa daw?

Kelangan po ba authenticated talaga? Kase alan ko pede naman naten isend sa diac ang scanned copy di ba?

@KTP : yan din sabi sa akin sa embassy. pero ako, hindi ko ipapa-authenticate unless sabihin sa akin ng CO na ipa-authenticate ko. hehehe

Yup ganyan din sabi sa akin sa embassy. Ipa-authenticate daw sa DFA afterwards. Wala rin akong balak ipa-authenticate pa since pareho lang naman itsura at di naman siya gagamitin sa SG.

Hotshot and birhen salamat po.... Heheh sige ganun na den ako. Kase naalala ko ung friend ko alam ko di din nya pinaauthenticate.... Question lang sa police clearances nyo, ung aken sg police na daw magmmail directly sa diac... Kayo den ba ganun? Tapos nets ako nagbayad, so un lang ang pinakareceipt ko... Pede ko ba send ung receipt sa CO?

@KTP : sa Friday ko pa lang gagawin yung akin. hehe. pero kung yan lang ang receipt at wala nang ibang proof para pakita na nagapply na kayo, ok na po siguro yan. pero sabi sa akin ng isa kong friend na nakakuha na...pwede kayo tumawag after maybe a week at hingin ang tracking number ng COC na pinadala nila sa australia. so baka pwede din itong proof, pakita nyo yung status nung courier para malaman ng CO na lumilipad na ang COC nyo papunta sa kanila. hehe

Reply to @hotshot: Oo sabi nila pede daw tumawag para hingin ang tracking no. Send ko na den muna receipt tas send ko tracking no. Sa kanila. 🙂

June 21 pa medical exams namen sa raffles. Wala bang proof na mei appointment na tayo sa kanila?

@KTP : yung sa medical, mabilis lang naman masesend siguro ng Raffles yan. online naman nila isesend e.

@jeffrey_craigslist : for my case, my dad went to NBI (with the forms i sent to him) on May 11th tapos pinakuha sa kanya ng NBI by May 21st.

@KTP, yup pwede na yung receipt from SPF, though di ko pa sinesend sa CO haha. May 22 ako nag-apply and I can start following up to get the tracking number starting June 9. So baka dun na ako magtry mag follow up.

Sa SATA ako nagpa medical nung May 26 and may receipt naman though nung May 30 naging "further medicals received" na yung status ko except HIV. Check ko ulit sa Friday kung Finalized na yung status.

sa mga hindi po umabot within 28 days to upload ang PCC/NBI clearance, anu po ang sinubmit?

pwede na po ba ang receipt ng application?
iupload ba as attachment sa online application or email lang sa CO?
