Recently passed the PTE Exam with superior marks last night!
sharing some tips po and hope it will help 🙂
Speaking:
Read aloud- Binasa ko lang in moderate pitch yung passage, wag trying hard at super loud kase marerecognize naman agad ng AI yun even with a mask. Medyo mas mataas lang ng onti sa normal tone ng voice mo, it will do the job basta fluent ka lang. Nagstutter ako ng onti sa last part pero 90 naman po ako speaking
Repeat Sentence - Luckily, maiikli yung sentence sa real exam compared sa nasa apeuni. Gaya ng mga namention dito. Apeuni lang din gamit ko na app. Everyday ko piniplay yung mp3 na repeat sentence sa apeuni, muscle memory nadin. Yung last 2 questions ata di ko nacomplete. Thankyou sa tips na nabasa ko dito🙂

di ko po ginamit yung jimmysem for DI/RL di ako confident masyado sa template. Kahit di important yung content mas gusto ko padin may sense sinasabe ko haha. depende po sainyo, any template will do naman siguro basta kung saan kayo comfortable 🙂

Much better if mix of phrases and words ma takenote nyo habang nakikinig para more choices haha. Be attentive lang 🙂

Writing
SWT- Albeit; but; therefore ginamit ko po, beware sa correct spelling po
WE : eto talaga! jimmysem template ang pinakamadali for me imemorize. Make sure lang na connected sa template yung thought ng question. Modify nyo if kailangan but be careful sa grammar kase malaki points po ang grammar and spelling din 🙂 Everyday ko tinatype and 2 weeks before exam 1 essay per day ginagawa ko 🙂
Reading
RW FIB and R FIB- dito ako nahirapan talaga practice lang apeuni. Buti di masyado mahirap yung napunta sakin sa exam, nagkulang lang talaga ako sa time nung last part sa R FIB kaya di ko masyado nareview na yung sagot. Helpful tips yung kay anusha and monipte sa youtube🙂
RO- again pinakamahirap for me. Practice lang guys haha E2 PTE and anusha very helpful🙂
basta nakuha nyo na yung independent sentence, madali nalang connect connect yung mga susunod.
Intindihin lang ng mabuti yung thought ng sentence.
MCQ Single/Multiple- skim reading lang ginawa ko. Be time conscious kase baka magkulang kayo time sa RFIB, mas importante yun gaya ng nangyare sakin na di ko na nareview sagot kase i only had less than a minute nun tapos may isang MCQ single pa akong tira. Super nagmadali na ako huhu.
Listening
SST- Anusha template po gamit ko🙂
MCMA- Attentive lang talaga dapat. wag masyado mag spend ng time dito kase may mas importante sa last part which is WFD🙂
FITB- derecho na ako nag ttype sa keyboard. use TAB key para mas madali mag proceed sa next blank. kahit mali spelling type nyo lang. after ng audio saka nyo correct 🙂
HCS, MCSA, SMW- Attentive lang tapos practice kayo na madali pag pick nyo sa sinasabe sa audio. dont spend too much time din dito.
HIC- again, listening attentively is the keyy. follow nyo lang ng cursor yung sinasabe para madali nyo mapick up yung incorrect words🙂
WFD- may 4 mins pa akong tira which is sufficient naman, thank you Lord. Derecho na sa keyboard pag type kahit mali spelling correct nyo nalang after. Dapat maperfect din to kase laki ng points, may isang word ata akong na omit sa last question hehe.

naka 10 na mock test din ako sa apeuni haha if everyday mock exam 2weeks before PTE kaya much better.
Nakakakaba environment pag pasok nyo ng pearson, very strict sila kaya BE PREPARED AND BE THERE AS EARLY AS YOU CAN. 5pm exam ko pero dumating ako 4pm nabigla ako kase pagdating ko pwede na pala mag start agad agad and may mga nauna na sakin haha.
Follow every instruction that will be given carefully. Walang break kaya better if mag c.r na kayo hehe.
Wag papadala sa kaba, labanan nyoooo haha. Legit na nakakadagdag sa kaba yung environment sa pearson pero need maging mentally alert specially speaking yung pinakunang task 🙂
Be yourself, Stand on your feet with confidence and most importantly, PRAY PRAY PRAYY.
Ask God to give you wisdom and trust na kung anong pinag aralan mo is maabsorb mo on the day of the exam. Akala mo di mo kaya, daming doubts but mashoschock kanlang na all that youve studied will flow naturally habang nag eexam ka 🙂
