Birhen_ng_Guadalupe @kriskringle Hello! Depende po sa assessing body like sa ACS di requires and IELTS so inuna ko ACS then saka ako nag IELTS. Not sure sa iba like EA, VET-ASSES etc. Kung hindi namam required, better wait for the assessment results muna then saka mag Ielts para di masyado magastos.

bourne @kriskringle , yes merong pong fee ang assessment. https://www.acs.org.au/migration-skills-assessment/costs-and-charges Yung skills assessment costs 500AUD. Kahit saan nagwork, pwede magpa-assess. Required naman po ang assessment for visa processing.

I am a Database Developer and cant find the specific occupation on their list if I am under Developer Programmer or Analyst Programmer. Or sa result ng assessment malalaman kung sang occupation ka mag-fall? Thank you!

Occupations that are under CSOL require state sponsorship (visa subclass 190). Ano pala mostly ginagawa mo as Database Developer?
kriskringle @bourne Thank you very much for the details and help. 🙂 Nature ng work ko is focusing on ETL (ETL Developer ako specifically). May part din na nagmimigrate ng objects from one source database to other destination database.
bourne @kriskringle, i see.. pag magpa-assess ka, ikaw kasi maglalagay ng occupation. Sympre dapat based sa job description mo, kung sa tingin mo pasok ang job description mo under Database Admin then choose that. Otherwise, pwede mong iconsider yung ibang occupation.

multitasking @n3ng .in general, it is not easy to find a job in Au.. however, there are migrants who found job quickly.. employers usually look for local experience na wala ang most of the migrants..

bourne @kriskringle, yung main applicant lang po ang required magpa-assess. Pero if magcclaim po kayo ng partner skills points, need po pa-assess ang partner. Hindi ako nagclaim ng partner points, so hindi na po nagpa-assess ang partner ko. 🙂
