@mhcphc nope, learner's permit is like a driving license for begginers na.

@icebreaker1928 try to renew it before going to AU. You'll pay a fine for the expiration but you'll still get the same license number which will be important in converting it to AU license coz the date when first obtained the PH license will be there.

If IED April 2015 then nakakuha ng Pinas non pro DL October 2015, so hindi na rin magamit ang Pinas DL sa South Au dahil more than 3 months na from IED?

hello! boss question. may UAE DL din kami ni hubby ..bfore ur '3rd month' ended, u needed to pass d theory and practical exams na pra mkakuha na AU license? also ang prob ko lng is maidens name pa ung DL ko kc ..then ung PR ko dyan wil be married name na. wud u know f pde ko kaya gamitin to dyan? ph license ko rin is maidens name 🙂 salamat po ng marami! 🙂

Natanong ko na nato dati pero confirm ko lang uli ang sagot… May PH DL ako (2004 ang initial issuance, so 11 years na ko licensed).

I made my initial entry last Dec 2014 (3 weeks lang – 2wks in SYD, 1wk in MEL)… Hindi ako nag-drive that time.

This 2016, plano ko na mag-move For Good, may I still entitled to drive in Oz for 3 months using my current PH License?

nasa OZ nako sir, since 2012... kaya hindi na nakapagrenew...

Kahit expired kita pa rin naman dun yung license number ko.

Ngayon ko pa lang balak kuha ng license, anong maaring makaapekto sa pag apply ko ng AU License using an expired PH DL?

@icebreaker1928 Hello po. Share ko lang experience ko. I have a non-pro license dito sa pinas. Nung nasa sydney ako, nagapply ako for learners kasi expired na yung ph license ko. Under tourist visa lang ako that time ah. The lady asked kung gusto ko daw magapply na straight ng full license kasi may ph license naman ako, pwede daw kahit expired na yung ph license ko as long as mapasa ko yung driving test. Hindi lang ako pumayag kasi di pa ako confident that time dahil di pa ako nakapagpractice ng right hand driving. Nagonline exam lang ako then they issued me learners para lang makapagpractice ako during my stay. Pagbalik ko dun sa January, magapply na ako ng full license.

Registration is around 550++ ( 1 Year )

CTP or compulsary third party insurance is at least 600++ ( if you have a clean record no demerits no anything )

Insurance ( depending on the make and model and how good driver you are or level of cover ) at least 600
