How to convert PH Driver's License to AU Driver's License?

@coffeedrunkard Walang anuman, 🙂 Try mo na rin palang mag generate ng paper test sa may Vicroads website, yung ibang questions wala sa online practice test nila. Naalala ko may tanong kung pwede ba ang motorcycle sa bike lane, kung ano speed sa gravel surface tsaka kung ano distance mo dapat sa fire hydrant pag magpapark.. Goodluck! 🙂

Patanong lang po kung may minimum no of months/years po ba yung age ng PH license para magamit sa Australia for the 1st 6 months kapag new migrant? Yung sa wife ko kasi kukuha pa lang sya ng non-pro license sa PH this April then sa June ang punta nya sa Aus. Pwede po kaya nya magamit yung PH license nya for her first 6 months of stay in Aus? Salamat in advance sa sasagot.

Sa mga taga Victoria po, may question po ako.

Kelangan po ba talagang dumaan sa Learners pag may non-pro PH license ka?
Nagbook po ba kayo kaagad ng Learners exam or pumunta muna kayo sa Vicroads para magpa assess?
1. Tanggapin kaya nila ung receipt o temporary license ng LTO, wala pa kasing card. Wala rin akong certification from LTO.

@MrBean pag gusto mo kumuha ng oz DL id dito yup need mo ipasa un 2 computer based at un practical test pero pag valid pa naman yan Ph lisence mo pwede naman gamitin kung naka temporary visa.

Oo pwede niyang magamit yung Ph license niya for the first 6 mos then after that kailangan na niyang ipaconvert driver's license niya. This is for Victoria, sa ibang state iba ang rules din nila. Saliwa nga lang yung roads dito sa atin. Few lessons will be helpful para mafamiliarize siya sa roads and with the rules of giving way na rin which is necessary sa mga pagkarami-raming roundabouts,hehe.

Pag may Non- pro ka magagamit mo siya for the first 6 mos upon your arrival here in AU. After that 6mos, you'll have to have it converted into AU Driver's License. That's the time na kukuha ka ng Learner's mo. Hindi siya direct conversion.

May 3 tests ka na kailangang ipasa

Knowledge Test para makakuha ng Learner's Permit at makapagdrive with someone who has a full Au license
Hazard Test para makabook ka ng Drive Test
Drive Test
Since overseas license conversion siya, tumawag ako to book for the Knowledge test. Then on the day of my exam, dinala ko yung mga documents ko na chineck ng Vicroads.
Hindi ako sure kung tatanggapin na walang card kasi nung nagpunta ako sa VicRoads hinanap nila yung Ph license card. Pag may time ako, I'll call them and try to find out and let you know. 🙂

i have read na po this thread..pls po paki-confirm if tama ang understanding ko:

HUBBY: 32 yrs old, Non-pro PH License for more than 5 yrs

understanding : PH Non-Pro DL is valid for 6 months and can then apply for Victorian Full License

WIFE: 32 yrs old, Prof PH License for 1 yr only ( did not pass Non-Prof stage)

understanding : PH Non-Pro DL is valid for 6 months and can then apply for Victorian Full License

@chehrd Tama yung analysis for the hubby, you just need to take the exams for the conversion and 6mos will start from your date of arrival in Au if you got the PR grant offshore. Not sure yung sa wife na PRO kung pareho lang sa Non-Pro. If i have time, i'll ask VicRoads and let you know. Ano po conditions nung sa Pro para mabanggit ko na rin sa VicRoads?

@coffeedrunkard salamat sa sagot pre. Receipt lng tlaga binibigay ng LTO main kaya hindi ako cgurado. Oo may 6 mos pa pwede ko pang magamit to.
