How to convert PH Driver's License to AU Driver's License?

May license ako from pinas pero nagtake ako Learner's exam. Pero nung nagbook na ako for the Hazard Perception test eh may 3 months waiting time pa bago ako makapagtake. Hindi ko lang alam ang rule kung may Philippine license na ako kung kailangan ba talaga mag-antay ng 3 months.

@GSW Sa Victoria ba yan? Pinakita mo ba yung overseas license mo sa kanila? Yung staff sa VicRoads tinanong ako right after kong makapasa for L's kung gusto ko ng magbook na for Hazard Test.

Yes sa VicRoads ako nagtake and nakita naman nila yung Philippine license ko. Ano sinabi mo sa kanila after mo pumasa? Pinasched ka ba ng hazard test right away? Nung una hindi kagad ako pinakuha ng Learner's Card kasi sabi nila valid for up to 6 months yung Philippine license ko. Pero sabi ko gusto ko kumuha ng license sa Australia para permanent na kaya dun ako inissuehan ng Learner's card pero sabi nila di ko daw pde na magamit yung Philippine license once may Learner permit na.

@GSW Hindi ka pinakuha kaagad kasi pwede mo pa sanang gamitin yang Ph license mo to drive around for 6months pero dahil pinaconvert mo na siya hindi mo na siya magagamit pa to drive not unless may kasama kang full license holder. The moment na kinonvert mo license mo, considered Learner's ka na dito sa Au not until maipasa mo yung dalawa mo pang natitirang test na makukuha mo yung Full Au license.. Oo tinanong ako kung gusto ko ng maghazard after kong pumasa.

@GSW Hindi na ako nagantay ng 3mos pero di ako nagpasched nung araw na yun at during my knowledge test dami kong nakitang fail sa Hazard. Iisa lang kasi ang computer room na ginagamit for both tests. Definitely not 3mos kasi hindi naman ako sasabihan ng staff to book for the next day kung may waiting time. Pareho lang din nung sinabi sa akin nung taga Vicroads na nakausap ko thru phone.

Salamat ulit baka iba yung rule dati. Pero contact ko na lang sila para sure kasi ayaw ko magantay ganun katagal for the test.

Hello I got a call from VicRoads just this afternoon. Sabi nila once may Learner Permit automatic hindi ka iaallow online to book until after 3 months. Pero since may overseas license naman daw ako pwede daw so punta na lang ako sa office to book the exam at ipakita ang Learner's permit and the overseas license. I think safety measure nila yun para mamake sure na may driving experience ka na before at di mo na kailangan 3 months learning period before taking the Hazard test.

Ang nakausap ko sa phone (Vicroads) weird lng, kelangan ko daw ng 3 months bago mag take ng actual driving test. PH license conversion naman ang sa akin, at nakapag hazard exam naman ako without waiting for 3 months. Ganun ba talaga yun?

@MrBean Punta at pabook ka sa mismong office nila, sabihin mo na for conversion lang. Pag online at thru phone eh sasabihin na you need to wait for 3mos.
