How to convert PH Driver's License to AU Driver's License?

i meant year sa birth... yeah because ata kasi ako magka license before so lumalabas ngayon overage ako by 4yrs.

pwede ayusin po yan. not sure if same process...dati may mali din sa license ko....spelling ata ng name or mali address...parang ganun. change information lang sa kanila tapos pinagbayad lang ako for that change. hehe

same here. pano ba iconvert yung phil license to sg license, kse recognised country pala ang singapore

affidavit of discrepancy & submit proofs like BC, SSS ID or any gov't ID but never ur passport. mahirap na kasi baka madagdagan pa ang penalty fee at pahirapan ka pa. sorry, praning lang ako sa mga tiwaling tauhan sa gobyerno.

I managed to do this some weeks back - di naman mahirap but I was fined Php5K as it came out that I was underaged during the time I acquired my license. No choice but to pay it, at least it should be corrected na. I will wait for a month before this will be done.

Can anyone share their experience in doing the actual drive test? From what I gather from this forum and from friends down under, eto daw ay mejo mahirap.

to all SG Driver's license holders, I believe there's a catch here:

If you have not held your overseas driver’s licence for more than 2 years, or you are under the age of 19 years of age, you will be issued with a provisional licence (P plates). Your new driver’s licence will show when the provisional driving period ends. Make sure you are familiar with the Rules for novice drivers (includes L and P plates).

-meaning kapag <2 yrs mo pa lang hawak yung SG license mo, considered na learner's permit pa lang din makukuha mo? in other words, wala ka pang makukuhang AU DL kung ganon? Mas maganda pa pala kung Phil DL ipapakita ko.. although ang trade off naman nito is yung SG DL ko no need for Driving tests, while yung Ph DL need ko pa dumaan sa mga tests, etc?

Anybody who's gone through the procedure w/ SG-AU DL conversion pls advise? Thanks!

Just wanted to share my experience.

I was able to have my PH license converted provided you have held your PH license for more than 3 years to be eligible for a Full license. No need to have the letter from LTO.

You will just need to take the driver's knowledge test. Once you've passed that test you can take the driving test within one year.

Although we are not eligible for straight conversion, you do not need to go through the process of getting learners then provisional then full license.

@brent - i think the 2-yr requirement is for total overseas driving experience...

so if you have driving license from the Phil... then SG.... and total is more than 2 years..

than you can get it converted directly to WA license..

when i had my initial entry in NSW, i went to Sydney RTA office and presented my US license,

so since its less than 2 years, tama nga ung sinabi mo, they will give you P (not Learner).. pero i said i've been driving for more than 10 yrs (Phils and UAE) ... kaso hindi ko dala ang mga ibang licenses ko..

so hindi na lang muna ako nagprocess...

Eto ang pagkaintindi ko:

P- provisional license, meron ka ng license, pero may restrictions sa mga speed limit etc..

L- learner's, hindi ka pwde magdrive pag walang kasamang may Full License

Mga sir... good day!

Tanong ko lang kung pano ang conversion kasi may drivers license na ako dito sa Singapore. i willo be staying in victoria.... nabasa ko website nila. according the website eh hindi ko na kailangan mag exam. paano ba ang mag book online for conversion kasi wala ako makita puro drivers test na lumalabas....
