May way po ba na makapag mag-followup ng ceremony schedule?

Ang sabi kasi sa approval letter 'your citizenship ceremony will be scheduled within six months from the time your application is approved...."

Last 16-Nov-2020 pa na-approve yung citizenship application ko, until now walang invitation for ceremony...

di naman kami nag lockdown ng matagal dito sa Brisbane... tuloy-tuloy ang in-person ceremony since last year

After 10months+, naka sched narin kmi for exam. Sa mga nakapag exam recently, may binigay ba na reading materials? Or may app ba tungkol sa Oz citizenship exam na pwede mapagpraktisan? Salamat po

Nung maging 'Approved' na yung status sa Immi Account... after 1 week may na-receive akong letter sa mail from DHA (Canberra ata sya and not from my local council)... 'Dear Blahblah.... Notification of approval of Australian citizenship..."

dun sa letter nakalagay na you will receive another letter from the local council or the Department for ceremony invitation

You can download "Australia Citizenship - Our Common Bond" document in the immi website. There are tons of apps available for practice as well. The app I used was Citizenship Test. It's like a mock-up of the exam and made it easier for me to memorize everything.

So I have spoken to someone sa 131 880 to follow-up my citizenship ceremony..

Ang sabi sakin is currently 90% of application is waiting up to 7 mos from approval to ceremony -- which is what is in their website for processing times...

then sabi nya 10% may need to wait longer.

tinanong ko what is causing the long waiting time... na I'd understand approval can take time, pero bakit magtatagal na naghihintay lang ng invitation for ceremony?

marami syang sinabi na like covid daw, number or applicants..

anyway, tinanong ko din kelan na dapat mag-follow-up kung wala pa ding na-rereceive na invitation after 7mos...

mag-wait daw ng up to 12mos from approval kung wala pa din, by then na lang mag-follow-up...

hindi nalang ako nagsalita

Nakalagay within an hr to 2 yrs. Kakausap ko lang sa officemate ko. Ang sabi niya yung sa misis niya after a yr sya naapprove after exam. Then, yung sa friend nila 2 yrs ang hinintay. Hope mareceive mo na rin soon yung approval status mo. Ang hirap maghintay.

yup..super yung 2 years.. i think it's more of na-neglect nila yung application or mabagal lang talaga. So far nabasa ko sa ibang forum na random lang minsan, nilalagay nila yung application sa isang pile for 'further screening'. Longest na nbasa ko na ng-wait ng approval is 8 weeks. Yung iba after magpost sa forums then after a day naapprove. I called immi earlier and sabi nila within 14 months yung timeframe, which is weird dahil may iba within an hour approved na. Sa centrelink kmi nag-exam, i think mas mabagal cguro paggaling dun. Will wait and see..

yup sana. from our application to our test schedule is super bilis kaso yun lang.. ang tagal ng approval. we're checking the immiaccount everyday.. joke nga namin baka pag di mo icheck saka nila ipprocess. :disappointed:

Yeah, i know the feeling. Yung tipong maya-maya ichecheck mo yung status. Nakakapraning.

May friend ako sa Brisbane na kakaapprove lang ng PR, 2 yrs sya naghihintay ng approval nung finollow up niya kinabukasan naapprove na sya.

Yeah, kakagulat nga yung range but i guess case to case naman siguro
