@Diana__Jane @shaynetot Here is the thread related to CPAA membership. Being a picpa member does not automatically mean we can be a member of CPAA. we still need to undergo assessment. and associate member lang tayo. we have to do some subjects pa.

@Diana__Jane no ksi wala nmn expiration pagiging CPA natin. afaik.

bale pag di ka lang bayad ng membership fee, delinquent member ka. naka kuha ka na ng membership certificate from PICPA? if not need mo bayaran yung yrs na kong san di ka bayad ng membership fee. bago ka nila issue han ng cert.

Anyhow. u dont need mebershcip certificate as long as meron ka PRC certificate at board rating enough na proof yun na CPA passer ka.

@batman thanks for the heads up! I think derecho na ako for skill migration assessment since time is of the essence hehhe. Yep member pa rin ng PICPA pero tama ka, delinquent hahah I called them kanina tapos I asked kung how much fee for renewal ng membership. 6k daw para makakuha ako ng certificate of good standing :-O hahha so I guess derecho na ako sa migration assessment. Or if i do not apply for membership, will it affect my migration assessmebt? Thank you!

@shaynetot no it wont affect your migration assessment as the two assessment are totally different.

Hello po. If I applied for an Associate CPA membership, then decided to take the CPA program, can I use it to claim additional points in EOI since it's a distance learning course?

@Lexi under what points? you can only claim for bachelor degree, PHD.

Hi - may list of requirements ba kayo for the pathway 1 (aside from passing the 3 subjects).

May timeline ba kung gaano katagal ang evaluation ng CPAA?

Hello, I am planning to get assessed by CPAA and most likely I would be in Pathway 2. I just like to ask, do I need to be in Australia to take the exam papers? How much does an exam cost? In your rough estimate, gaano po katagal tapusin yung 4 subjects and 2 electives? Lastly, yung experience requirement po ba must be within AU boundaries?

u can take exams outside AU.

around 1200 AUD per paper

exams offered twice a year.

experience need not to be within AU.

So like I can finish the exam papers in just a year for instance, I take the first 3 on the 1st offering then I take the remaining 3 on the 2nd offering?

the textbook is like roughly a 1000 pages long per paper... up to you! 🙂

@Luis Cuntapay doable, because our Phil CPA papers are more challenging, around 7-8 subjects and need to take in one sitting while CPA Au almost the same topics and you can take it one at a time tapos open notes pa. 🙂
