Hi guys, last October 4 nakareceive ako ng email from QLD (Request for further information for potential Queensland SkillSelect Skilled Nomination. Applicant Mr*** Subclass 489) (Deadline to respond: October 18, 2012)

I have a couple of questions about this. I hope you guys can enlighten me.

Ito kasi yung additional info na hinihingi QLD (in bold letters):

* Your contact details (e.g email address, residential/post address)

	 <i>- I am currently residing/working in South Korea, should I give this as my address or my home address in the Philippines?</i>

* Evidence of occupation registration as per the requirement for your occupation as detailed on the Queensland Eligible Skills List

	<i>- Can I use the EA skills assessment for this? Or just a copy of COE that I used for EA skills assessment?</i>

* Evidence of sufficient funds for settlement

	<i>- What kind of evidence? Scanned copy of bank passbook? Stock certificates? 

	-How much is the ideal amount for this?.</i>

* Evidence of your commitment to work and live in Qld

- How am I able to show this?

* Regional area and postcode

	<i>- What is this?</i>

In addition to this, visa 489 kasi siya so hindi siya PR. If kukunin ko itong visa 489 what are the steps para maiconvert ko ito as PR visa? And kasama ko wife ko sa application, same visa din ba ang ibibigay sa kanya? Or baka mangyari ako lang pwede mag work and siya as dependent lang without working visa?

Should I skip this, and wait for skillselect visa 189/190 invitation? (I have 65 Points for visa 189 - Mech Engr. ANZSCO 233512)

May dilemma din ako isasabay ko na dito sa post ko hehe..

Since nasa South Korea ako ngayon, paano yung medical exam may accredited ba dito or kailangan sa pinas ako kumuha? (May two week vacation ako sa pinas sa mid november, pwede na ba ko kumuha ng medical ko kahit wala pang invitation? para naka ready na siya hehe)
Nag work ako sa Saudi (Jubail) for a year, I heard na hindi daw nagbibigay ang Saudi ng police clearance, is this true? Paano ang magandang alternative dito kung meron or paano na? hehe

I am confused because all documents required by EA are already athenticated by the school, PRC, CHED, DFA. Do I need to have the originally authenticated documents notarized by the Notary Public or just a copy of the authenticated documents be notarized? Where can I notarize the documents, here in Dubai or in our country PI?

Would appreciated any feedback...

to simply answer your question, they don't recognize authentication by prc/ched/dfa..
photocopy the ORIGINAL and have it notarized by lawyers/notary public
DO NO photocopy the authenticated docs.. trust me binalik nila sa akin yan.. 😉

ANSWER: - kung hindi ka pa nmn aalis sa SK, give that address kasi baka may mga ipapadala sila docs para makuha mo agad..

ANSWER: - if you read the requirements in their website it says, registration to Board of Professional Engineers in Queensland.. which on my opinion is weird, dahil kaya ka nga pupunta dun para magwork at sakali maka register sa organization na yan... but anyway try mo din..

ANSWER: - may specific amount po yan depende sa state at kung ilan kayo sa family.. (example mga parang 25kAUD for single, tpos additional 5kAUDper dependent)

ANSWER: - you need to do your own research, parang mga tipong essay about why do you want to live there, at may mga work ba available, copy ka ng mga job ads from seek..

* Regional area and postcode

ANSWER: - san regional area mo gustong tumira.. check kung alin ang pwede for visa 489, may mga designated regional area/postcode lang na pwede...

ANSWERS:

after 489 temporary visa, magapply ka ulit ng iba pang visa para maging PR..
yes pwede ksama ang wife/family..
kung ano ang condition ng primary visa applicant same din sa secondary..
pwede sya mag work kahit dependent

the decision is entirely up to you.. kung nagmamadali kang maka-punta ng AU..

research ka din kung maraming work for you sa state na yan
check mo ang mga current invitees for 189... alam ko nsa 65/70pts na.. so malapit kana..

Medical

may mga accredited clinic per country.. nasa DIAC website ang list.. you dont need to go to phils..
may expiration ang medical, at dyan din naka depend ang initial entry date mo,
Initial entry date = medical date + 1 year..
so kung mag medical kana agad, mapapabilis ang initial entry date mo

SAUDI PCC

pwede pa rin daw po yata, you can request thru SAUDI embassy in your location
kung hindi pwede may ibang paraan, nabasa ko ung iba nag punta sa AU embassy tapos may pinirmahang document...

Yup you are right, tomorrow is another round of invites na from skillselect so antayin ko muna yon. Sana makakuha na ng invite. If not then try ko na magproceed sa state sponsorship nomination. Looks like 489 eh hindi ganon ka-attractive dahil selected regions lang siya.

Again thanks ulit sa tip at advice nyo sir! Luminaw ang mga bagay bagay hehe.

Another round of skillselect invites ulit ngayon. May mga nakarecieve na sa inyo invitation? I hope this it! Di ako masyado nakatulog kagabi. (Inaantay ko pa reply ng agent ko if may natanggap na kami, tsaka di muna ako naglog-in baka ma-jinx hehe).

hi Saint... based sa forum na nabasa ko... may mga invites na for 60 points na ni lodge by July 12.. i stayed late last night.. kahit na alam ko long shot pa ako.. pero im glad that they are already calling those with 60 points... [-O<

@saintluke Wow tama ba yang nakikita ko sa signature mo? Oct 2 ka nag submit ng EOI mo?? 😃 😃 😃 WOW big WOW!! Congratulations! It means that its possible na ang filtering nila is first by Occupation then by Points then by Date&Time submitted.. I am really optimistic now, thanks for sharing pare! Big help, nawawalan na ako ng pag-asa kagabi ehh.. Tanong ko lang po sir, anu pong nominated occupation nyo po?

i belong to the 60 pointers as well, I could have submitted an EOI last O1 July kaso nagparemark ako nung IELTs result ko at nalimot ko magpaphotocopy ng test result kaya hinintay ko pa dumating nung remarking at 18 July nako nakapagsubmit.. God is really teaching us to be patient, in his time makakareceive din ako ng invite 🙂
