Yung IELTS mo po ilan yung score? Baka po makatulong po sa iba (sa kakilala ko po na kukuha ngayon) kasi medyo di aabot yung points nya.

@psychoboy thank you dito sa link na pinost mo. nakita ko ko dun sa statistical report, Indians ang may pinaka mataas n number of invitees compared sa ibang nationalities. so sa 1st September pala ang next round ng invitation. Sana lumaki na ang bilang para naman ma consider na kmi..

Goodluck to all of us... We are still waiting for the skill assessment from CPAA - another 2wks of waiting before we will know if pwede makaaply for EOI.

EOI is a big joke.

In July, only 2.7 % were selected from 8,261 applicants. In August, 100 applicants were only chosen from the pool, with 75 points the lowest. More and more applications are coming into the pool every minute, and are automatically ranked accordingly. No wonder if one day, the lowest to be chosen are those with having 80 pts.

Given the scores of the invited, forget about visa 189. I think you should all focus on acquiring state sponsorship.

hello everyone,

i would like to ask for your advice. i'm thinking of having a back up plan. based dun sa EOI na sinubmit ko nung July 1, visa 189 ang pinili ko with 65 points in total. wala pa po ako invitation, so i was planning kung wala pa ako invitation sa coming round (Sept 1) ay dapat na ako kumuha ng State Sponsorship. based kasi sa trend ng mga invitees, most of them are all State Sponsored.

gusto ko lang po sana makuha ang opinyon nyo, kung antay ko n lang ba na ma invite ako for visa 189 or kuha ako ng State Sponsorship tapos update ko na lang ung EOI ko kapag nakakuha ako ng SS.

@wynx Get a state sponsorship. Based on the points of invitees on the bulletin that they just posted, 65 points will not get you an invite anytime soon.

@wynx Apply for ss now. Unahan ang game ngayon because of the ceiling. My claimed score was decent enough but I knew may mataas pa sa akin out there (libu-libong pana na nasa IT) so I pushed for state sponsorship.

If I may reply @wynx - as far as I know best bet would be the big financial hubs of Sydney and Melbourne hence apply for NSW and VIC... At least on these states (or capital cities), there will definitely be lotsa openings. 🙂

Right!! Goodluck to you... Careful on SA SS - read more about it nalang as they are very seloso with regard to what you place in your EOI appliaction, sa pagka-intindi ko dapat Visa 190 and South Australia and ilagay mo sa application mo. Anything more than that will be a ground for rejection. Mejo mabilis sila (around 4wks or 1mo)

VIC is not seloso - kahit nga ata di mo ilagay ang EOI reference mo yet, pwede pa rin eh... (pls correct me if I am wrong on this...) - and problem sa VIC is the response time which is usually 12 wks or 3 months... 🙂

NSW - pwede, di rin sila seloso like SA but may fee na AUD300. And mabilis din sila (approximately 4wks or 1mo)
