Hello po,

Need your advice po sa case ko. Applying for Quality Manager sa SA po ako and I used an agent to process my application. I submitted my EOI last Dec. 2017 with total points of 70 for visa 489. Kaso until now po hindi pa din ako invited. Ang ginawa po ng agent ko is lodged my EOI only pero hindi po sya nag send ng application for State Sponsorship. Nasabi po ng friend ko today na dapat daw parallel sinubmit ang eoi at state sponsorship in order to progress. Otherwise kung hindi daw nasubmit ang application for state sponsorship, I will not be invited. Her statement is contradicting to my agent. Ano po ba sa palagay nyo? Kailangan po ba sabay?

Hi @Janet_0214, if your agent is applying for SA nomination, after creating EOI they need to apply for state nomination sa website mismo ng SA. You will not receive any invite if they only create EOI alone.

are you sure na SA ngapply ang agent mo or bka sa VIC or NSW sya ngapply? strange lng na hindi nya alam na kelngan mgapply sa SA mismo..

@Hendro thanks po for your immediate reply. Sure po na sa SA nag apply kase don lang at sa Tas open ang QA. Kaya pala I have been waiting for almost 9 months na eh wala pa ding nangyayari. Everytime na mag fofollow up ako they are saying na waiting na lang sa invitation. Ang mali ko nagrely ako masyado sa kanila at hindi ko inalam yung process. I trusted them so much sa application ko. I am so depressed as I have to wait another year maybe para mag open ulit ang QA kase currently spe con na sya. 🙁

that's bad @Janet_0214 .. dpat alm nung agent n may separate application sa SA.. hndi lng sa EOI skill select.

@jaysonkier was really bad. I have been waiting for this everyday from dec not knowing na I am waiting for nothing pala. I have paid so much money sa agent ko and yet di nahandle ng tama. Sakit sa dibdib sir. 🙁

@Janet_0214 Sobrang nakakapanghinayang naman yung nangyari sa iyo. Kung Quality Assurance Manager yung occupation mo mukhang bukas pa naman sya sa Tasmania. Baka gusto mong subukan din.

@Janet_0214 you have to talk to your agent, daming nasayang na panahon at pera. As suggested by @maguero try applying to TAS pra more chance of getting invitation.

@maguero oo sobrang tagal! halos 5-6 months from application date! buti hindi ka naabutan 🙂

@jasonkier baka same time lang nten mreceive ang invites naten! I applied on 8th July! anong occupation mo?

Architectural Draftsperson.. ngapply ako under high points.. btw last week mgcclaim sna ako ng partner points, ngemail ako sa SA officer pra iupdate cla sa pag-add ko ng points. then nkarecieve ako ng reply sbi nila it could lead to an unsuccessful outcome pg inupdate ko EOI ko..kc ung points nung ngapply ako last August 10 un n daw ung final., so un hndi ko n inupdate.

@jaysonkier bakit mo pa need magupdate ng eoi? nareach mo na yunh high points na requirement db during your application?

Dpat hndi ka nla mobile site, click mo lg ung settings sa upper right corner, tas edit profile then on the lefst side meron signature settings dun..

Uu sir ung 80 points.. sayang kc ngpaasess ung partner ko 3 mos ago..last week lng lumbas ung results. eh last month p ko ngapply sa SA.. update ko sna. slmat

@Janet_0214 Oh my. If you dont mind, can I ask if na check mo ba na Under Mara si agent? Kasi if they are updated they should know that need mag apply sa SA for nomination. If na submit last year ang application mo around 3 weeks lang naman turnaround time. How many points are you now? 70 with SS points na ba or without pa?

Just a thought, as we all can see, basing on rules and processing times, a lot have changed since last year. I encourage everyone to apply as soon as they are eligible as we wouldn’t know what changes might be effected in the coming months. I also applied for SA state nomination around Nov 2017 and processing times then was only around 2-3 weeks, now it takes months na. It means they are receiving a lot of applications now, thus, taking them too long to issue invitations. Based on the trend, getting invites are getting tougher, so if you are eligible even for a 489 visa now, dont delay and lodge ASAP. You’ll never know what rules will affect your chances tomorrow. :-)

I agree with @chococrinkle Looking at those timelines it seems there were a lot of applicants who were like me, just waiting for SA to open last July and as soon as they opened, everyone submitted. That's why the volume for July 5 to 7 are so high.

@maguero yun nga po sobra nakakapanghinayang talaga. Nag apply na din po ako sa Tas for both 190 and 489 and same case din po hindi din sila nag submit ng application for state nomination. Nagpunta ako sa office nila kahapon at iniinsist ng agent na we have to wait for the state to respond to our application with the list of requirements and then thats the only time na pwede na magsend ng application for nomination. But I am not buying that as I start reading their website and clearly naka state don na after EOI, state nomination kaagad.

I really do not know if I will get my money from them and just continue applying by myself. Kaso ang worry ko baka di nila ibigay incng pera including my log in details sa current application ko at lalo tumagal at di ako umabot even sa Tas.

Palagay nyo po, possible ba na pansinin ako ni SA kung sakaling mag send ako ng application for state nomination at imention ko what happened to me sa commitment letter ko at humingi ng consideration sa kanila?

@chococrinkle opo registered agent po sila. Kaya nga po I trusted na they will handle my application properly at complacent ako at hindi na ako nagbother to know the process myself. Thats my biggest mistake.

@Janet_0214 base on my experience with TAS need mo talaga mag apply sa website ng TAS for your application 489visa kasi hindi nila malalaman yung EOI mo kung hindi ka nag apply sa kanila.

@Janet_0214 Since registered sila I suggest you also file a complaint against them with MARA. That should help with your refund request and maybe they can also give you the details of your Skillselect account para you can continue with the same EOI. Although madali rin naman gumawa ng bago.

Hindi ko alam kung icoconsider ng SA yung case mo pero sa tingin ko there's no harm in sending them an e-mail to inquire.

70 characters lang yung commitment statement for SA. Just briefly say why you'd like to migrate and move to a smaller city like Adelaide.
