@PampangasBest papuntahin mo si uncle mo sa lawyer, tell him to get an affidavit of support. The lawyer knows what to do. Ang kelangan from your uncle is an afidavit of support, proof of funds(bank statement) and proof of income(employment cert or biz permit). Nakalagay sa affidavit of support na yung uncle mo will shoulder your/and your dependents expenses during your duration of stay/study sa OZ) - yung sa akin nga nilagay pa ang course pero masters in nursing nilagay. Inokeyhan lang sa IDP. If I were you, I would seek assistance nalang sa IDP, but do it fast kasi sa dami nang clients, medyo mabagal ang exchange/relay nang communications with IDP as middleman. Yan lang yung disadvantage sa IDP. Best of luck sa application niyo! 🙂

@pepper - may bayad na ang IDP? bakit ganun? dahil ba 2nd attempt niyo na sa application? or nagbago na talaga sila and nag chacharge na? pepper PM mo email mo sa akin padala ko sayo sample affidavit ko...or wait...try kong ipost

@caiomhe10 try mo sa idp free lang naman ang counselling nila. wala din processing fee. may ielts and school ka na?

tnx tenseako.. try ko minsan pnta sa idp.. kuha ulit aq ielts kc general ielts mron n ako.. so ngaun mgtake nmn aq academic..sa september ako magielts.. schools, im still scouting..kaya ngbabasa ako dito sa forum pra mlaman sang school mgnda mgenroll at ok ang fee, un clinical placement at location.. may 2 n ako schools na nalista, flinders at deakin.. ngchecheck pa ako ng iba pang schools na nagoofer ng bs nursing 1 yr course.. baka may lam ka pa inform mo ako.. :-)

hi all. maglolodge na po kami ng visa namin... just want to ask re. my passport info. yung name ko kasi doon maiden name pa. my husband wanted to change it to his surname. eh may offer letter na from the school under my maiden name? Any suggestion? pwede bang ang visa ko under my maiden name tapos pa change of name ako sa passport after?

@pepper just read your visa application status. ikaw lang ba ang nagpunta at nag apply ng visa mo and no help from IDP?

@bbgirl ang alam ko dapat updated ang status na iddeclare mo sa student visa, kasi di mo madadala si hubby. and macacancel ang visa mo once malaman nilang married ka na pala tas d mo inuupdate. un ang pagkakaalam ko ah.. pde naman ata humingi ng offer sa school na updated na ang status mo e. try mo ask sa idp. 🙂

@caiomhe10 wala ka ba kamag-anak or kakilala? hanap ka dun sa state na may mga kakilala ka na. mas okay kung may skul ka ng pupunta sa idp, kasi lam ko pag sa knila k pa papahanp ng school na pde sau may bayad ata na 1,500. much better din na 2yrs kunin mo kung plan mo mag-pr after. 🙂

@tenseako thanks. hindi ba pwedeng maiden name gamitin ko sa passport then may supporting na lang sa pag visa lodge na ang married name via Marriage Certificate?

@tenseako just want to ask here kasi wala akong agent when I applied sa Deakin and alam ko, kapag magcoconsult sa IDP I need to have an appointment with them pa.

sa PR visa application it doesn't matter kung maiden...
maiden name (not changing to married name) is independent of your marital status
you can declare na married ka, but have been using maiden name..
there are other nationalities na hindi naman talaga nag papalit ng maiden name kahit married na sila... so why would that be an issue..

so my opinion, that should be okay.. use your maiden name, but declare status as "married"...

your marriage certificate is enough proof that you are indeed married..

you can continue to use your maiden....

on the changing to married name in your passport "AFTER" visa grant.

sa PR visa applications, may form na pwede fill-upan to change details of passport
para ma update nila system ng DIAC, at hindi ka magkaproblem sa immigration..

so im assuming if this is applicable sa student visa...

to confirm.. check your friendly student visa advisor.. 😉

@tenseako may kababata aq sa sydney ksma mom at lola nia pti kpatid. Kso mhal daw cost of living dun mas mura daw s suburban.. Ok nmn s amin mgasawa khit sang state mkhanap ng skul..
