I'm here to seek advice regarding my student visa application. Just to give you a background of my situation, I have been to Australia once this year on a tourist visa to visit my girlfriend. We have since then decided to move in together but decided to go to the student visa route first to see if I'll like it there. I have recently acquired my eCoE so I am now just trying to put together all the requirements I need for the VISA application.
I studied Mass Communication in the Philippines but worked as an Office Manager in a small business for 3 years. At present, I am a Multi-Media Designer at a school. The course I enrolled for in Australia is Diploma in Management. Do you think that would be a problem? Can anyone offer things and strong points to mention on my application to help me justify why I am taking Management?
If I have enough funds on my personal bank account, should that be sufficient for the application? I do not make much money but the money was put there by my parents and we are just waiting for the 3 month mark to lodge the application. Also, will I need to get an Affidavit of Financial Support from my parents or is a Statutory Declaration that I have enough on my account good enough?
