@athelene nakapaxkage po un sa diploma afer nung certificate. San po kaya mabilis mag process nun?? Maganda po ba na mag tourist ako then dun po ako mag apply sa Australia ng student visa? Thanks po ma eexpire na din po kasi ielts ko sa september eh... nagiisip po sana ako ng way... kasi ang intake ng locksmith is feb pa ulit.

@Kaloys Mabuti po yan kung nakapackage na (1.5 years for certificate + 6 months diploma) para sure na at least 92 weeks yung study length.

Kelan sa Sep ang expiry ng IELTS mo? If mag-eexpire na yung IELTS mo, mas mabuti po na mag-apply ka na sa school bago ito ma-expire kasi pwede naman po na maaga ka mag-apply ng student visa. Sa case ko po kasi July intake ako this year pero end of January palang nag-apply na ko ng visa and na-approve naman (6 full months ahead). Sa tingin ko po pwede ka na mag-apply ng student visa kahit Aug or early Sep, para valid pa talaga ang IELTS mo hanggang ma-grant ang visa mo.

Hindi ko po sigurado kung kailangan na valid pa ang IELTS pag nag-apply ng student visa, pero sa eCoE ko from university naka-indicate lang doon yung English proficiency exam na pinasa ko sa school at yung overall band score. During visa application hindi ko na inupload yung IELTS results. Mas mainam po siguro na valid pa ang IELTS para walang problema kung sakaling hanapin ng immigration.

As for your question kung kailangan mo pa ng tourist visa, hindi na po kailangan kasi once ma-grant ang student visa mo, effective na ang visa mo so anytime pwede ka na pumunta sa Melbourne. Yun nga lang, hindi ka pa pwede magwork hangga't d pa nagsisimula ang course mo. Ang naka-indicate lang kasi sa student visa ay yung expiry date nya, walang nakalagay kung kailan ang start date ng visa. Sayang din po kasi ang babayaran mo sa tourist visa kung kukuha ka pa nun.

kung halimbwa pong 2 yrs ung course ko ( diploma at advanced) ok lng po ba na 24 months o 2 yrs lng din ang OSHC insurance?? salamat po sa sasagot

@daint081189 Hi, kailangan po na ang length of OSHC coverage mo ay macocover ang length of study mo. Icacalculate mo po siya from the intended entry date (if you're flying to AU really early) until student visa expiry date (2-3 months after end of course/program).

Hello po! Ask ko lang po kung pwede ba magapply ng student visa kahit na senior high palang sa pinas. Ano ano po ang steps? Same lang din ba sa post grad? Thank you po sa sagot! God bless!

@mahbi may unconditional offer letter na po ba from the university yung senior high student? Kasi pwede lang po mag-apply ng student visa pag na-satisfy na ng prospective student ang entry requirements ng university, usually hs transcript and diploma/certification of graduation (if the uni recognizes the senior high education to be equivalent to Australian Year 12, otherwise baka kailangan pa mag-enroll sa pre-university program). Once may unconditional offer na, pwede na bayaran yung fees stated in the offer letter para maka-enroll at makakuha ng eCoE, which is required for student visa application.

For postgrad studies, bachelor degree transcript and diploma ang kailangan ipasa sa university, but similar process na kailangan may full offer, enroll to get eCoE, then apply for visa.

@mahbi hi may classmate yung cousin ko na kakagraduate lang from senior hs na dun sa oz magaaral ng college.

2017 February 9 Offer of place in the university

2017 May 10 Offer of place deferred to July 2018 entry instead

2017 August 12 IELTS exam

2017 December 22 Finally paid tuition fee (CoE received on 2018 January 2)

2018 March 1 Health exam submitted

2018 March 28 Application officially paid for and lodged through agent (AUG Manila)

2018 April 30 Case officer requested for additional documents (notarized birth

                            certificate and OSHC details)

2018 May 8 Visa grant (postgraduate research sector)

@mahbi To get an unconditional offer, the applicant has to fulfill all the entry requirements stipulated by the university (listed on uni website). Some schools only give conditional offers kung kulang yung documentation, like IELTS results.
