hi, need advice po.. may way ba na di dumaan ng poea at sa oz na lang magpa update ng status sa embassy dun? parang sa singapore, dun na kami nagpa update. Para di na need kumuha ng oec at pdos? Davao pa kasi ako.

under 457 visa ako. Ive been in this company since 2012, nasa sg pako until i came back to ph under the same company as freelancer.

Gagawin ko, lalabas ako ng pinas as tourist sa sg then derecho na oz after that. Possible ba ito?

@cjacob28 approved ung visa ko ng june. Onshore din ako nag lodge under 457.

Hi, 457 visa holders approved after May 2016. Bago lang na-approve visa 457 namin, wrong info kami, need na pala ng POLO verification and according sa POEA officer nakausap namin, di pa nila ma-assure kung kelan ma-complete poea process namin.

I know this is kinda weird question.. pwede na bang sa Oz na magpa-register? Like sa Sg, sa embassy na kami nagparegister nuon. Kasi by Last week december na ako papuntahin ng employer ko baka di kayanin sa sobrang tagal ng process dito. Gagawin namin, tourist sa SG, then SG to Oz na. Maraming Salamat po.

Tanong ko lang dito sa mga nakaka alam,ok na kc lahat ng papers sa agency,ngayon tumawag ako sa agency kung ano ng status ng application ko,ang sabi sakin inaantay daw yung contract para ma pirmahan ko. Ngayon tanong ko lang gano ba talaga katagal yun para dumating sabi kc saken ng agency, sa employer daw mang gagaling yun Tapos daw mapirmahan yun antay nalang ng visa. Ganon ba talaga ang proseso?Sana may sumagot.

Yup. Ganun talaga yung process. Sa case ko dati, after the job offer, i waited for the contract from the employer, signed it then waited for the nomination to be approved. Then i lodged the visa. Pwede yata na maglodge na rin ng visa kapag nakapaglodge na ng nomination ang employer.

@marjames puwede naman. Ganyan din ang ginawa since nagbakasyon ako sa Singapore ng 1 week bago ako pumunta dito. Working visa din ako when i first came here. Yun nga lang, you have to buy a roundtrip ticket sa singapore. Pagdating ko dito, pinadala ko na lang sa POLO sa Canberra yung mga papers ko for verification and OWWA membership.

@hope14344 medyo mabilis lang .direct kasi ako sa company so.walang agency. Di ko sure yung tineline pag may agency pero pareho naman ng process. After interview ng employer sa akin, after ilang days, may offer na. They emailed the employment offer kung ok sa akin. Emailed it back to them tapos yung nomination approval and visa application na.

@epiboy99 yung sakin kc after kung ma interview ng employer thru agency,pina complete sakin yung mga requirement,nag vettasses,tapos nag medical. after nga nung medical ko bali 2 weeks na nakalipas, tinawagan ko yung agency kung ano ng status, ayun nga ang sabi sakin inaantay daw yung contract,nag tataka kc ako kung bakit ganon katagal hanggang ngayon wala pa,sabi kc sakin ng agency tatawagan nalang daw ako pag nandyan na.medyo malaki din kc yung placement fee kaya worried lang ako,although hinde pa naman ako nag bibigay.

Hi - bago po ako dito, im from Dubai , 4 yrs na po ako dito and currently my job offer sa Perth,with the medical requirements, meron po akong slight case ng inguinal hernia(luslos), for the past 4 yrs wala naman po akong naging problema sa kondisyon ko, my question po is, magkakaproblema po ba ako when I visit panel doctors sa medical ako?

@alex84 yun lang ang part ng medical exam pag 457 visa unless nurse o nasa medical field ka or your work will deal with children (may additional test for hepa and hiv yata). Pero kung di naman, yung ginawa sa iyo na medical exams ok na yun.

Hi Guys,

Im currently employed in one of the international firms here in Manila. I have an offer to transfer to Sydney Office by next year. Currently, nasa approval stage yung contract ko sa company namin.

Now I have a question regarding OEC processing. Though I think it's meant to protect us, the process itself is quite hassle for both employers and employee.

For Direct hires to work in Sdyney- Do I need to have my contract authenticated by POLO in AU? If yes, can it be done by consul in Sydney?

If yes, can I have the contract authenticated before the visa? I'm afraid that if I can only process it after receiving the visa is I won't have much time?

Hello Guys,

Patulong po sa mga naka pag vetassess na.

Am currently preparing my vetassess requirements and I find it hard to provide detailed employment certificate with (working hours, details of duties, superannuation and photographs at work and pay slips or bank statement sa previous employment ko. Pero sa current employment ko madali lang kasi maiprovide dahil pwede ko naman irequest.

Ang tanong ko po. Kailangan pa bang iprovide lahat ng requirement sa vetassess or ung typical employment certificate lang ng company ay inaaccept naman nila?

At magkano po binayad nyo sa skills assessment.
