Hi everyone. I would like to consult lang sana you guys about the negative result of my vetassess assessment under priority assessment.. thanks in advance to those who will answer 🙂

I got the negative outcome letter just now, 3 days after they emailed me that they will start the assessment on my credentials.

My nominated occupation is Marketing Specialist. 4 yrs and 8 mos to current in SM Supermalls as Senior Marketing Manager, spent 6 years in Saatchi Advertising and a graduate of Bachelor's degree-AB Communication Arts in Colegio De San Juan De Letran.

The initial point written in the letter is that they found my study qualification in Letran is only equivalent to Associate Degree of ACF. Since this is the case, the whole assessment of all my credentials submitted including my work experiences are negative due to my basic qualification only falls under Associate Degree.

I find it a little odd kasi Bachelor's Degree ang natapos ko sa Letran not a vocational course or an associate degree which is a 1-2 yr course. I submitted to them my TOR, Award Certificate and Diploma that all says I finished a Bachelor's Degree (4 year course).

I'm lost what to do next. I wanted to appeal but I'm not sure though what documents I need to give them for the re-assessment.

@sarahgon Sorry to hear about the assessment results.

Assessment bodies just follow the classification of overseas educational institutions. You can find the list of Philippine schools and their classifications here https://pinoyau.info/plugin/page/schools-sections

I think for occupations that require licenses, if the applicant has a PRC license the qualification is upgraded to a bachelor's degree even if the applicant graduated from a section 2 or 3 school. I am not sure what can be done for occupations that don't require licensure exams. Perhaps you can check with a MARA agent like @RheaMARN1171933

@sarahgon Degrees from section 1 schools are classified as equivalent to an AQF Bachelor's Degree. Degrees from section 2 schools are usually classified as Associate Degrees unless the applicant has another qualification that enables them to be upgraded to a Bachelor's Degree, such as a PRC license.

@sarahgon AFAIK PRC licensure exams are for occupations that require standardized knowledge such as engineering, architecture & health-related professions.

If your profession is not listed with PRC, then it's not a regulated profession and therefore does not require a license in order to practice. Sadly, there might not be a way for you to get a PRC license if your nominated occupation is marketing specialist, as it is not regulated in the PH.

Hello po. Just want to ask medyo confuse po kasi ako. I have 2 terms left to complete my dual course: Diploma in Project Management and Advanced Diploma in Program Management. I know I need assessment to apply for graduate visa and I am aiming for Management Consultant under vetassess. Upon checking kasi sa qualification requirements ng nominated occupation nakalagay "qualification assessed as comparable to AQF Bachelor degree or higher".

Does this mean na di papasok ung current courses ko since diploma lang cya?

I have completed Bachelor degree sa Pinas, pero pagkakaintindi ko is hinde pwede combine qualification ipaassess ko and only Australian study lng ang pede ko ipaassess when applying for visa 485.

I hope someone can give me some info. Thank you.

Plan nominated occupation is

A. Civil Enginner Drafstman 312211 /

B. Architectural Draftsperson 312111

ito po quiry ko doubtful kasi ako, after i graduated year 2007 nagwork agad ako sa isang company bilang isang Structural Steel Detailer / structural draftmsan sa cebu hanggang nag abroad ganun padin work ko related parin siya sa Structural.

pa help naman po kung sino may alam sa query ko. if Occupation (A) related sa Experiences or (B) related sa natapos na course.

ito po natapos expreinces ko.

I think better check the description of both practice, may nga decription na usually naka indicate under the skilled occupation, cross check kung san category ng fall yun job description mo. but as you’ve mentioned mostly structural ang experience mo,i think most likely sa civil engr draftsman ang ipa assess mo. kasama sa sol ang civil draftsperson ngyon , open sa NSW compared to Archi drafts.. i am a graduate of Bs.interior design sa pinas with 3yrs of working experience as Mech.draftsman in Saudi and 6yrs here in pinas as autocad operator.

B. INTERIOR DESIGNER (not licensed)

then, lets say i got a possitive assessment sa Vetassess, mg.ssend na ako ng application for EOI, and lets say again na ininvite ako for regional state sponsorship.

Do i need po ba agad na mg.send ulit ng EOI sa state or region and wait for their invite before ako mg.apply ng visa.

Hi, question: if ang nominated skill ko is Construction Project Manager ANZSCO 133111, ok lang ba if yung positions/job titles on my work experiences are not Managerial Roles? Pero yung job descriptions indicated under 133111 naman are aligned with roles na ginagawa sa previous and current jobs ko. Thank you.

Titles are mere titles, as long as the tasks are aligned with the ANZSCO definition. Make sure to provide an org chart showing your position in the company. They need to see that you’re in a managerial level. All the best.

Thank you @RheaMARN1171933 . Follow up question, ok lang ba if yung org chart ako lang gumawa and not on the company's letterhead? Im based in Manila already and yung mga previous company ko is in Singapore, baka hindi na ko makakuha from them 😔

Hmmm.. sa mismong Construction Project Manager na Info Sheet, walang sinabi about org chart requirement. Pero sa SRG01 − Explanatory notes for Skills Assessment ang sabi:

Organisational chart (on company letterhead) highlighting your duties. This evidence is compulsory IF nominating a managerial occupation.

Hi @xiaoxue , thanks for replying. Based on vetassess website kase nasa list yung construction project manager sa required magsubmit ng org chart. I would like to know sana if meron dito nakasubmit na, i'm not sure kase if there's a template or format na required.
